You may not believe it, but I'm 59 this year and this tune was one of the earliest examples of house music I ever heard, London in '88 and '89 was on fire!!! So crazy in fact that, the maddest nights of the week were on Mondays and Thursdays! Acieeeed!!!!

@@Max-rn3eb we were loving the Cali's and nut nuts.Having half of each was called a candyflip. Beautiful time is surely an understatement. We embraced house music like it was our first child born. We loved it so much it became part of us. I had the best time of my life. 35 years later and i still love it. Even more if I'm honest.
Back in 2014, my post-secondary school had a 80s dance and I requested 3 songs, including this song, and you know what? They actually played it. I was glad they played it so they get to experience some 80s house music (trance wasn't a thing in the 80s so I had to choose some 80s Detroit techno and Chicago house).

@@bertiew6771 Silly fellow - I heard my 1st Acid tunes in 1987 at Delirium at the Astoria - it's well known that nothing happens in Leeds for at least 2 to 3 years after - so I'm guessing earliest 1991 for you lot, and the import is laughable, as Woolworth's just didn't do them. I came across a motley group of Leeds supporters last season, and it was more than a little sad just how incredibility poor they all were, TK Maxx would appear to be the height of Urban outfitting for your sorry lot, Peacocks they certainly were not.
@@ruzziasht349 Thanks for proving you know nothing. First off, before Acid there was House, as this track demonstrates. You say your first hearing was at Delirium in 87? I suggest you have a word with Noel Watson who was a regular visitor to Downbeat in Leeds in 86/87. Noel couldn't play the early House stuff at Delirium as he'd get bottled, it's all well documented. As for Leeds fans, I don't doubt you, Acid Ted.
@@bertiew6771 Ah Noel and Maurice - I could go back a lot further and mention Battle Bridge Road, and also Mutoid Waste, but as it's "well documented" you'll have no doubt read all about it..... and that's the difference between you and I, I was at these events, week in and week out, and not out in the provinces desperately waiting for the London missions to grace you with their presence and imports.
