Watching this as a Steelers fan makes me excited for the future. He's got a ton of mobility and the arm strength is definitely there. I think he can fit well into Canada's unique running system. We'll finally be able to use play action unlike in Ben's last season where he could barely move.

This was an interesting game seeing my QB as a kid defeating a Giant. This kid will get many Rings and he is not like any other QB and he is not in anyone's shadow. He is Kenny Pickett and I honored to have him as my QB for Pittsburgh. I Love his family even more. They celebrated and cried with joy.

Even as a Freshman, you can see the confidence and winners mentality. He's going to do well with the Steelers.

2017 was an incredible season. As far as I know, it was one of the only seasons where 2 of the top three teams lost in the same week twice. This week Alabama also lost to Auburn, and earlier on Georgia and Notre Dame(yes, they were ranked #3) lost

This was one of the worst Pitt teams I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been going to Pitt games since I was a baby. This was Pickett’s first ever game as a panther, and he lead THIS team to beat the No.2 team in the country. Absolute Pitt legend.

Ah yes, the really bizarre 4 year stretch for Pitt football where they would be mediocre or even outright bad for most of the season and then knock off a top 5 team out of nowhere. And in the one season where they didn't notch a random top-5 win, they somehow won the ACC Coastal by going 6-2 in the conference, but 7-5 overall. I didn't realize that Kenny Pickett was the QB for 3 of those teams. As a Pitt student, I'm glad we're finally getting a lot of coverage. Hopefully Kenny kills it in the NFL.

This game was 5 years ago and it's the last time Pickett beat Miami.

I remember watching this game as I was getting ready for a basketball game at my college in Indiana. I would have like to seen him play in a bowl game that season but unfortunately Syracuse and North Carolina played spoiler this season.

As of July 30, 2022 training camp. I am hearing that Pickett has not completed a single pass I think Mason Rudolph will be the starter. At least he should be. if Mason starts, I see the Steelers record at 10 and 7.. if Mason does not start, I see the Steelers record at 8 & 9.. There were a lot of dropped passes by Pittsburgh receivers in 2021. Ben was hitting them right in the hands and they were dropping many of them.. I don’t see Pittsburgh beating Cincinnati, New England, Buffalo, the Raiders this year.. The defense should be good enough, but the offense needs time.. win or lose, it’s never dull.. I want to see fingerless gloves on all linemen to reduce holding.. I want to see knee braces on all linemen..The human knee was never designed to play football

Very sad that the Miami Hurricanes have not been this relevant since this game. After this loss, the football program took a huge nose dive, loss the last two games, ACC title game against Clemson and the Orange Bowl against Wisconsin. Marc Richt left after the following season cause he refused to fire if I’m not mistaken his son who was the OC, then the program gave the keys to Manny Diaz, good guy but not the ideal coach. He had no attitude/passion towards the players (for example the players were celebrating a turnover against Alabama which was a bad game on their end) which led to mediocre games. Let’s hope the program reach to its best in the future under Mario Cristibal.
