I re-organized a whole 3 week road trip from Canada to Florida around the fact that I bought a Grand Ole Opry ticket specifically for a night that these guys were playing there. Totally worth it.

This is some of the best, ever! Little stage at Tubbs Record Store, no fancy acoustic mixing etc. Just Marty and the Superlatives blasting you into another dimension. Kenny is on fire here.

I met Marty one time and Kenny too, Kenny seemed a little shy but very nice. Marty talked to me like he’d known me all his life. Good folks and great talent.

I have been watching Marty/Kenny and this band for sometime now and really enjoy the real music they do. Awhile back ,they brought on Roger McGuinn from the Byrds . I mostly listen to progressive hard rock. I recently just discovered Marty Stuart on an old Letterman show. The guy blew my socks off with his stunning guitar playing skills! Vaughn was playing too... and after seeing this video, I'm a fan of both.

All right! Country music got a hold on me about 65 years ago, when I was 10 or 11 years old. My Canadian born dad turned me on to it and I can't shake it off. I really don't want to either. Nice to see Marty Stewart on the guitar.

Incredible teamwork - note how Marty picks around (real good, too) while Kenny sings, then hands off to Kenny for 2 solos, then gets it back without a hitch. Having fun being the best there is at entertaining and picking. Thx for the share.

Marty gives everyone the spotlight. Kenny certainly knows his way around the guitar as does Marty. Big talents on that stage.

Back in the 70's, I used to listen to the Opry on an old transistor radio my dad had. When that was over, Ernest Tubb came on with his Record Shop Midnight Jamboree. I never realized what a fire hazard that place was until I saw these videos

I have to say watching this made my day, and I am Spanish and live so far away! But I love country music and lifestyle and it puts a smile in my face, asking for a cowboy hat as a Christmas present, great musicians!!

Marty's not playing just any old Telecaster. That particular one used to belong to Clarence White (most famously with the Byrds between 1968 and 1973) and has a notable modification known as the "B Bender", which is how Clarence (and now Marty) gets that steel-guitar-like pitch slide on the B string during his backing and solo. You'll see him move the guitar down to pull the strap tighter, which activates it.
