I can’t believe this because I rode this during April to May and it was running perfectly fine and then I went to the park this past weekend and I was on the Thunderbolt platform to get onto the ride and I saw all of this.

This is VERYY much a big deal! This is my kids FAVORITE ride and it will not be a true kennywood experience without one trip on the turtles. the curse of the log jammer strikes again!

Haha I knew there’d be at least one person out there to say that! I don’t blame you. For the little kids, this is a great ride and a lot of fun for them I’m sure. As an older teen myself, I’m more interested in the coasters lol.

The foundation in the middle became unstable it’s getting dug up to try to make it stable.

I was there yesterday and there was more than just the Turtle closed. Plus other rides kept breaking down. We witnessed the Pittsburgh Plunge break down 3 times in 5 hours, each time with riders in the boat stalled at the top of the lift hill. So many food stands closed too.

The Turtle has an anniversary coming? I'd love it to get a cool makeover like Kangaroo received to honor this legend. I'm sure this situation will be faster than TT2's. Turtle/Kangaroo/Whip/Noah's Ark/Old Mill are the furious five of Kennywood's non-coasters. You gotta hit these up 1000% every time. looking back on things, I wish thy would have kept the Flying Carpet over Pirate, but dang it, you gotta keep Pirate alive with Paul Skenes. Yeet!

I didn’t see anything last time I went…. But I did see from online sources that they are marking up the supports like putting their support number on it, which could imply potentially they’re replacing those supports?
