Wow, how did I miss the crew working on Swing Shot while I was there? Glad you caught that! Yea, with Phantom, definitely just go with the flow on that ride. It's a chaotic ride! Awesome video as always!

I was there I had no complaints. Enjoyed riding and saying hi to people I knew. I tryed jetters there food was okay.

Attended opening day and last weekend. The aero and swing shot still do not work and it’s still the same sign as your video. Black widow did stop working 4/28 so no idea if it’ll be back. Posting this on 4/30/24 for anyone reading comments.

They sure were! Typically like 40s, and raining. Today turned out nice despite some setbacks with me even getting into the park, but hopefully that is fixed for next time.

It was great going there but it will be better when kennywood is done doing maintenance on the green phantom train and the other sky rocket train those line were so long especially with the phantom having it’s normal issues when I’m in the middle of line

@ 2:35 my pap (grandfather) told me about the pippin. i guess it got removed /updated for thunderbolt in 1967/1968

yeah the thunderbolt came out in '68, and the only remaining parts of the original pippin are within the ravine area that phantom goes into... everything else was new for thunderbolt. pippen actually used to feature a double dip like the jack rabbit does now, which is probably why they redid the ride, because it was too similar to another ride in the park.

We got to the park a bit late, waited almost an hour for pass processing! My husband and I did the Birthday Buffet, it was a pretty decent spread for the 20usd passholder price. standard American fast food like hot dogs and burgers, and loaded potato wedges you can add cheese and bacon yourself, It was pretty good. They gave all the kids noise makers tho... BC it was Kenny's birthday party. That went awful real fast, but I hope the meals are something they continue

I had to wait with my friend two hours in processing for his pass, and I wasn't even supposed to give them my pass since mine was already ready, or so I thought (I just wanted the new cups), then it just went total chaos from there and my pass didn’t work and I couldn’t get in the park for an hour. It sucked. Hopefully next time goes smoother!

@@RMsteelerfan7 did you ride The Turtle yet! Looks great, though we didn't ride it ourselves. Going again this Saturday for all the rides we missed and Areo 360 is supposed to open I believe.

Oh, Phantom will be one one train for a while, because the old matinence guy named Shane messed up, and ordered parts for Steel Phantom instead of Phantom’s revenge, how he made the mistake I’ll never know, but just an fyi

The cars they’re using on Potato Smash right now aren’t the original Grand Prix cars, they’re loaner cars from the company that’s making the new ones. They’re just off the shelf models like you see at other parks. So they probably ride like how the patch cars will, they just aren’t themed obviously.

We were so close to getting you on Black Widow, but we will try and get you on next time. I say it was a pretty good day minus the long lines and rides closing. Hope we can get out there sometime soon!

Overall everything was pretty nice except for carousel burger co. Not that the food was bad but the way they ran the place was horrendous

Went yesterday and used the lowest tier speed pass for $10 each and got everything we wanted to ride done in 3 hours. What’s the status of rapids? Too cold yesterday of course but was hoping it will be open this season.

i talked to an employee at millie’s, he said the fire was actually an electrical fire. he said the lights on the sign were so old, it was just a matter of time

well, kennywood came out with their spokesperson and said it was struck by lightning… but alright. Maybe the employee was just trying to calm people down, since a building being struck by lightning may panic people.
