One of the more underrated coaster duos out there, they compliment each other in that One is almost always open, the other not so much. Jokes aside, I’ve ridden both many times. Phantom is still in my top 10 after riding hundreds more coasters. Steel Curtain is really underrated when it’s running at its best, probably because of the downtime it gets.
I have not been here since they had the Log Jammer in this spot. Being honest, I am still bummed about the Log Jammer being gone, but I do like the look of this layout and its nod to Drachen Fire. The view from the peak of the lift is fantastic too.
Grew up outside Pittsburgh and went to Kennywood every summer. Been in Fl now for like 20 years. I’d love to go back and hit the classics like Phantom, and Thunderbolt and try the Steel Curtain. It Looks amazing.
Have you tried them? I can't even handle most rides at the fair including the ferris wheel but rollercoasters are fun. Everything goes too fast to think.
