I think they "love" each other and that is why it gives off that vibe. It definitely isn't what everyone else considers love, it is just two battle maniacs who found happiness in trying to kill each other. Romantic in their own unique way.
I personally do not see they have as love. I see it as pure ecstasy that leads to addiction. They're so addicted to fighting that Unohana mastered healing just so she can fight forever. Zaraki, on the other hand, shackles himself just so he can match himself with whoever he is fighting with and also fight forever.
@@thaturi Yeah, I just can't find a better singular word for it. I think you nailed it with "addiction", maybe even obsession with each other. As she put it in the manga, he was the only man that could ever make her happy.
8/10 Episode, her bankai reveal was extremely creepy. I wish we could've got a bit more explanation, if it provides acid attacks, but the fact that the blood from minazuki heals her and she can whip it effortlessly is insanely powerful. I think the additional acid effects would be over powering. I love the way Kenpachi is shown to slowly overpower her, and despite her being able to heal herself she declares her job complete.
Kubo made it a little clearer later on. She could heal herself, but she was losing a lot of reiatsu in doing so. The combination of fighting Kenpachi, sustaining her bankai, and continuously healing both him and herself left her running on fumes by the end.
Sometimes, I don't understand you folks. some of you wants to elaborate more of their Bankai. but some of you didn't want them to mention more of their Bankai especially, Cpt. Rose. Now your trying to ask for more about Unohana's bankai. of course, she's not going to explain it all during the battle. You guys just need to see how it works. the way she mentioned bankai is good enough for me. Even Gin's Bankai weren't explained to the fullest detail, because we only saw it once.
@@tomoya1243 Sorry if u misunderstood me, what i meant was to SEE her bankai in action more clearly. If it provides acid burns, let us SEE the burns. If Zaraki is physically 'melting' let us SEE him melting. I loved her extended showcase of her bankai and it was definitely enough for me to consider it very strong but more importantly balanced.
@@tomoya1243 Let's not be silly and assume i meant a full detail reveal like Cpt. Rose. He was disappointing in the sense that Kubo directly gave Mask de Masculine an easy counter. Everyone in Bleach can burst their eardrums. A Shinigami's Pinnacle Ability (BANKAI) should not be able to be cancelled so easily. It would be better to find a more difficult counter like perhaps Blut Vene reinforcing the body to resist the supposed fire, etc.
One has to feel bad for Kenpachi in a way. He finally has what he unknowingly stole from himself, but it came at the cost of the only woman he ever loved.
No matter how bad or good is this episode for the critics, I'm very sure that some of them were ungrateful. the fact the we were able to watch this now, as it is being animated only proves, that we are lucky enough to see it. It's absolutely better than having no progress at all. we, Bleach fans waited long enough this, so don't ruin the fun! Okay?
Yes, but everyone has a right to an opinion and the right to criticize. You just replying to all comments with dumb shit, like you guys want fillers, or you guys want or do not want bankai info.
I love this fight , they didn’t make it seems unohana was letting kenpachi win , instead she seemed to be both enjoying and trying her best in this fight
I mean when you really get down to it, there's no way for Zaraki to lose. Every time he dies Unohana instantly revives him so he can keep fighting. That's what his blackouts are. And she keeps doing this until his self imposed limits have been cut away so that he can become strong enough to kill her.
I know people keep saying that the blood is acidic, and it was melting kenny and unohana was healing him each time, but I don’t that what that ment. The “melting” was supposed to be figurative, like they’re “melting away their being”, in the sense that they are reducing themselves to the bare essentials for fighting. That’s why kenpachi is only half “melted”(cause he hasn’t released his full potential yet and there is still some part of him restrained) while unohana appears fully melted to the bone(cause she was always going full power.)
@@meowbahhyt You never did anything good that is why the only thing you can do is 'complaining'. You did not even watch Bleach legally. You will die empty. Every time there is something in the mainstream the first thing you will think is to find its fault. You will die envious. And the pirates of the Caribbean, especially Johnny Depp will bury you.
😮his bankai is more dangerous it was really foreseen in Manga,it was maybe full blood I still knew that kempachi he would act monstrously every time he takes the blows as he is about to die he becomes the same stronger kempachi cannot die
Did Sagisu notice Soulmadness videos then make 2022 version of bleach's music then let Pierrot staff put it to the similar scenes or it's my imagination
Definitely should have been a much longer fight. At least 15 mins minimum of straight combat but id have preferred it went on the entire episode. Too much dialogue but the animation itself is sick as all hell.
The next episode is more interesting than this one even w/o a fight, at least for me. But I agree that at some point this last arc is going to be boring.
I'm kinda confused by all these comments. I thought this fight's animation was excellent. Probably 2nd or 3rd best looking fight in TYBW so far. Maybe it wasn't as stellar as Zanka no Tachi but not every fight can be an entire episode of nonstop Sakuga.
@@-------....___ finally someone don't calle bleach hater. I am a big fan of bleach but that does not mean i am banned o.saying stuff that I don't like. People is making anime like politics, your are on our side or your are an enemy.
@@meowbahhyt exactly, the old.bleach has a better transition between scenes and they were more dinámic. New bleach seems to only have improved in effects and colors ...
It was short? I was afraid of that. Ever since the arc started it's fights last atleast a min or 2 with more dialogue than ever. Bleach in the past had longer fights
@@meowbahhyt I've seen you trash-talking Bleach in other vids but it's the truth no new information (they said they would change things) low-tier animation (almost no movement) even the acting is better in Brave Souls...
True. Fights are to short, and too fast within that short time to really see anything. Remember the fights Ichigo had with Espada, or the Zaraki and Nnoitra fight? Anime is being rushed too much
at this point, i think unohana's bankai is pretty simple but deadly, i think the blood "domain expansion" is her reiatsu in the form of blood and it does some healing and fatal damage too (as we know already unohana's battle level haha), same like ichimaru gin's bankai, a simple bankai but deals damage depending on the Captain's level, maybe not as crazy as yamamoto's or kyoraku's bankai, just my 2 cents
Im satisfied with the fight but the episode overall gets a 7/10, guess people weren’t wrong about Hikaru Murata, there’s a ridiculous amount of explanation and exposition for every single thing a character’s doing/thinking, there’s no suggestion, no implication, no room for imagination, I would’ve cut so much dialogue from this cause silence can also contribute to the narrative. This episode was also poorly edited, we get an ending scene out of nowhere, then 4 minutes of a post credit scene of what was happening before we were interrupted by Zaraki😂 damn, saved by the fight but this ep got uneven tone and choppy editing

Her death is disappointing and it has nothing to do with his shikai and bankai. She could have healed herself but she didn't . This kinda sad . She died for nothing .There is no extended fights . Manga is much better than this . There are lot of bad things I wanna talk about this episode . But for this not even my top 10 favourite fights in bleach .
I think they framed it as she just kept fighting him until he got to the point where she couldn't keep up anymore, healing or otherwise. In any case, she seemed to feel it was her duty to pass on the title she had been given, and part of that passing included her passing as well.
@@MisterPuggles I’m addition, she even said back in the Arrancar arc that her healing won’t (always) work if the person healed doesn’t have enough will to live if I remember correctly. Or something along those lines. It was when she healed Hiyori.
