Since no one has mentioned it yet, you can find loot in the cannibal villages and also Deadcat. There are always two chests to be found in the metal stilt houses. The content can be anything, but you will almost always find armor and weapons of various quality levels. I know I'm a little late to the party.
@@mr.rattlebone4902 I've researched everything already in a building in Squin, except some limb tech after I ran out of ai cores. I have 36 members in the squad who are all 40-50 in stats. Haven't taken out any enemy leaders other than one slaver lady, but I allied with the anti-slavers, the shek, and the rebel farmers. Hell, I see no reason to even build a base, but I will eventually just for the experience of it.
Nice me too, I installed the recruit anyone mod and now all the bad guys are fighting for me and thier bandits leave me alone. I will conquer the whole map one day xd Take a house in a city start selling skins or mine but I went straight to hash smuggling after I made enough money to afford mercenaries for the first trip then I bought a house in mourn as middle Station and husseled till I had enough money to afford whatever I needed. And if u build your own base start with the walls first make them complete before putting up a house. Unless u wanna fight right away.
I’d say take your time until you have strong warriors or people to guard em. Get the upgraded walls and don’t forget the turrets or harpoons, they bandits are very annoying at times but good for target practice hahaha
I played like an RTS player with the city escape start (6 people with many building materials). So I started a base right away, and now I have a maxed-out base that can keep farming Shek's revenge after 100 hours (78 in-game days) with 24 end-game turrets. 😂 My new goal is to build a strong army that can wipe out the entire map.
South Wetlands has a neat base location with 100% copper, 100% iron and 50% stone close to each other in the cove directly south of the swamp ninja base. build base around the cove, only entrance is swimming through water with walls on each side filled with turrets! a lot of raids early on however, swamp ninjas, red sabre, slavers, band of bones. but once set up, it's a killing box pool party.
The ghost village west of the fishing village has no enemies and has A LOT of "free" loot, mostly food and grog and other misc items (no weps or armour though). You can make a lot of Cats if you loot the whole place.
I put at least a hundred hours into this game, but I have no idea wtf you mean by a metoo weapon. Thanks for the vid, I really thought there might have been more cities, this saves me the headache of continuing to look for something that doesn't exist.
New to Kenshi as well, so this video will be useful. If you or anyone knows,... So I killed all the fiishmen, dubbed the territory "Acid Island", and built a large circle max wall and gate for my base. Decided to shrink it a bit to maximize character experience gains, and now it all says I can't put my walls next to a base... but it's my base? Even trying to rebuild the wall as it was, where it was, says the same thing. Taking your video home to watch it on my tv instead of my cracked screen tablet.
this sounds like the issue where a part of your base is owned by a different faction. It happens sometimes when building you need to use the console Shift F12 to fix it Otherwise, place a small shack or other building nearby the wall that is giving you issue. THis will expand your bases' radius which may remedy it too
Its been a while, so I'm not completely sure of what I did to fix the issue. I know I shrunk the base perimeter and moved some buildings closer to each other and problem stopped. I think my base perimeter was just to big and the different sections were counted as separate bases instead of one base. Like the walls don't count as a base, just buildings, and if the buildings are too far apart, you have two posts instead of one. It's been a while, but I think that was how I fixed my issue.
By chance do you have the Cannibal Hunters mod? It's one of the more popular ones that I do not use, maybe that's why I havent seen the chests or I am just blind hahaha
