Such a delightful interview! Such a humble human being! He gives everyone else their due and so willing to stand back for others and for the horse too!❤
Kentucky Derby Champ, Brian Hernandez, Is On Top Of The World!! With Both Of The Most Prestigious Races Of The Year: The Kentucky Oaks And The Kentucky Derby In 2 Days Time!! WOW!! And He Is So Calm And Cool About It!! That's What I Always Liked About Him!! He Is Not OVER THE TOP!! Great Gentleman And A Good Jockey!! Congratulations To All Involved!!
He did his homework. He was able to execute to plan all race. Kept to it. He and horse shared bravery and determination in the moment of truth and opportunity. Champs together. Horse and rider.
When you look at both Rich Strike jockey and Mystic Dan you realize that both used their skills to win the Derby! And not the horse! It was pure jockey skill!
DAN WAS VERY LUCKY TO WIN. DON’T GET ME WRONG, HE RAN A GREAT RACE BUT SL WAS LENGTHS BETTER. THAT IS, IF YOU KNOW HOW TO WATCH A HORSE RACE. IF SL EVER LEARNS TO RUN STRAIGHT DOWN THE STRECH AND NOT LEAN ON HORSES (BROWN OF COURSE SAID, HE WAS A TIRED HORSE-HUH?) HE’LL BE A MONSTER. HE WAS 9 WIDE AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH..LEANED ON THAT HORSE UNTIL HE WAS 4 WIDE AT THE WIRE. AND WTF WAS TYLER DOING AT THE FINISH LINE WITH HIS LEFT ARM? HOW COME NO ONE SEES THIS SHIT? I SAW IT LIVE AND NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING. ALSO, ARE THE JAPANESE TOO POLITE TO CLAIM FOUL. THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN 2nd THERE. HOW COME THERE WAS NO INQUIRY? OH YEAH, ITS KENTUCKY STEWARDS, ENOUGH SAID. NO, I DID’NT PLAY FOREVER YOUNG AND NO, I’M NOT A DISGRUNTLED FAN. I QUIT PLAYING YEARS AGO BECAUSE THE GAME “SUCKS”!
