Kentucky Rabbit Hunt - 11 Rabbits Killed 

Takes me back 50 years to when I was a kid and the Saturdays hunting rabbits with my Dad and our dogs. Those days are gone. Farmers no longer leave brush piles and brushy ditches for the wildlife and the ones that do have big no hunting signs and refuse permission because of the jerks that have trespassed and damaged things,let livestock out or even shot their livestock.

My beagle wasn't trained but her instincts are unmistakable, she's always hunting small game. She's woken from dead sleep from small animals in our yard. It's amazing

I think hounds are my favorite type of breed. Beagles, basset hound, bloodhound, greyhounds, dachshunds, and pharaoh hounds

Great video. Great dogs. Haven't done it since I was kid but my all time favorite. How do you train the dogs to hunt only rabbits? How do you keep them off of deer especially?

Damn that looks like a lot of effort. I'll stick to spotlighting orange groves at night in Florida.

Makes me want to get me a good Beagle and find me a place to take back up Rabbitt hunting. Something I've not really had a chance to do sense I was a teenager.
