I found a ts-440, buried under junk and dust, it had been sitting for 10+ years at the club and noone knew who owned it. So i took it home and tried it. No cigar, i got the dots, so i searched online for a while and found tons of info. After removing the potting stuff and breaking and replacing one of the switching diodes i have a somewhat working 440. 24m still has dots and 10m vfo is wobbly/oscillating. Other than that it works great, have around 1000 qso's on it 😎 12 and 10m are not so active now anyways, but i do want to fix it.
