God forbid the truck encounters any turning or drastic maneuvers, potholes or speed bumps, and animals on the road. Everything looks grand on a closed course with no real life interactions.
Good luck getting into any shipper/receiver, truck stop, or work site. That's all well and good for pristine closed course roadways and I understand the concept but practical use how can a pre-trip/post trip be accomplished, not to mention any uneven terrain maneuverability.
That is a ridiculous truck design that will only be good for on highway use and nothing else. And those highways better in perfect condition for that truck. At that point you may as well be using trains. Really, that is a utterly laughable design.
Looks much like the disaster Anteater release. 49 volts, really? 450 hp, in today's industry, where 500 to 600 provides the desired performance. This is the US not Europe with autobahn, the aerodynamics on front and side will be ripped off at the first truck stop or customer driveway. Granted, there appears to be economy improvements, but the additional expenses of a 48 volt Gen set and electrical system along with body repairs all add up to a massive increase in KW parts pricesvand sales.Another instance of fingerneers designing for profits and, fantasy land as opposed to the actual world of reality. reality
Roads, shippers, receivers, shitty truck stops, the way some areas need to turn on dirt or grass this truck will not help with any being that low and that many electronics
