Why does cold air come from the lower vent of the sleeper bed along with the vent above the bunk my heater works good in the sleeper but at the same time cold air is blowing from the vents .
Can you make video for how to remove the filter for the same 680 idle to clean it or change it became i tried to remove the filter its very spongy and seem hard to pull out of top under the bed and i dont want to rip it
my truck is T660 2014. the sleeper birth heater power doesn't come ON. what do I do? Because sometimes I want the engine to also rest so I want to use the sleeper birth heater while the engine is off
Brand spanking new 2023 truck and it worked for a total 3 hours now it refuses to come back on. It's fully charged and control module works as it should but the system won't turn on. Absolute waste of money.
@@silvernblue911 yea turns out the guy who had it before said it didn't work, and I myself couldn't get it to work. All it took was some patience, if I had it below 75 it wouldn't turn on it had to be above 76 and holy shit it gets hot lol
@@silvernblue911 the other reason could be u might need to clean filter under bunk or u gotta reset the unit. Or it needs to go into shop. Is it ur own truck or company
I have on my truck a espar. it looks like that but smaller. it will not come on. the does not idle at below 78 its something wrong. brand new 2015. Help!!
+Cody Ferry If your regular battery is below 11.7 volts it will not run. If that has the correct voltage and continues to shut off we would assume there's an issue with the system... Hope that helps!
When i run my bunk heater after a while my dash will start beeping saying low boltage so i have to wake up and start the truck. Is my bunk heater killing my battery?
Also, it is not killing the battery to the truck. It has four dedicated batteries to the system. Here's a general overview of the system... www.kenworth.com/news/news-releases/2014/july/kims.aspx
The system KW Idle Management system will not operate when the truck engine is running. There is really no need if the engine is running you can operate the A/C or heat off the truck A/C or Heating system.
Turn on the ac in the sleeper using the regular dials and snowflake button, then hit the button in the mixer dial in the cab. It will turn on the sleeper ac/heat. It has nothing to do with what they are talking about in this video though.
Great.System runs off its own battery. So rhats another battery i have to buy.Doesnt say how many hours of useage you get.Bummer, kinda makes us not interested.
Truck air compressor just went out but I’ll b ok till I get back 2 my shop…NOT! Sitting n my 2015 t680 hot asf right now. Just put 4 brand new adm batteries n the truck a month ago & apu only runs a few hours then shuts off. New filter under bunk, truck voltmeter reads 14. Virtually maintenance free my ass! Stick with the tripac diesel apus guys. These electric ones are hot garbage & the price on those adm batteries is absolutely ridiculous!
