Picked up a terra gator out of wellman Iowa that day of the warm weather with tornadoe threat that night . Spent the night in Osceola - thought about you guys- hopefully y’all didn’t have much of any wind damage. It def was a wild night sleeping in a truck sleeper that night lol. Heads up we have the Pete version of that navigation screen in our trucks- if the screen shuts off and goes blank and powers back up (mine says usb communication lost) it needs software update . Can usually achieve that by having the truck near a WiFi source. It’s a pain in the ass sometimes because the screen will power up bright at night when you have it dimned . It’s really a hazard at night. Anywho good looking rig.
Sorry for the slow reply on this ... we got lucky - some slight damage to eves on buildings and a tree or two - but that's about all .... pretty crazy weather for iowa and for this time of year... definitely not a good night to be sleeping in a truck - lol .... always great to hear from you and I will keep my eyes open for that screen to glitch... good news is I can watch you tube while driving now since it plays videos - lol ...
I have a 2021 t800 of my own I haul grain in Ontario, Canada and I cross the border into Michigan every day. T800's are just an all around perfect work truck.
Oh boy that truck is nice but the ultra shift is a awful transmission, i just rebuilt a t800 with an allison 4500rds in it and its smooth like butter. The ultra shift is a very clunky shifting trans that has a lot of mechanical and software issues, but best of luck with yours though!
Thank you ... we ordered it bc of an elderly driver - I wish I'd ordered a manual shift ...this is at least the ultrashift plus, which suppose to be improved- well see
do yourself a favor and cover the ends of those fuel tanks with one of those fabric covers or install full coverage mud guards over the rear tires. otherwise a regualr gravel road is going to throw rocks and sand blast and rock chip the shiny right off.
@@Blackearthexcavationandtiling i had a 1979 ford f-250 back in the day. i could wax that hood 3 times to try and get them swirls out, and never could, till the neighbor painted it red, then i seen no swirls after waxing it. i luved it for that. lol
Good looking truck. Always a good idea to spec them out a little heavier than you need. The more the merrier. It really bothers me that the stacks are not functional on these trucks anymore.
Just sharing info I have a new W9 x15 565hp I built at a KW dealer in MN there the only factory truck that both exhaust stacks that work form the factory ... great to see the new paint at the farm 😁
Awesome just awesome truck. Can't wait to see the other one as well. Great addition to the farm and look forward to seeing them both in use in future videos. Keep them videos coming and stay safe my friend 😎🌞👍
Thanks very much! .... I have looked for good used trucks for years but just couldn't find anything... the DOT specs vary so much state to state too - so it's hard to find one optioned correctly ... we have a 5 year warranty- knock on wood
She’s a beaut Clark! Emissions? Never heard of her! 😂 My Cummins (15 Ram 1 ton) runs so much better after the exhaust fell off on our rough dirt roads....
Very nice. Can you explain the difference between the transmission you got vs a full auto-shift? Horsepower that goes on for days, sure beats a 238 screaming jimmy huh.
Thank you! .. Lol.... those 2 stroke Detroits are a lost sound.. very powerful for thier time .... This is an ultrashift plus, 18 spd ... it still has a clutch- but it's operated by a electric actuator ... so when your stopped at a stop sign with brake pedal on, it's holding the clutch down for you... its like an 18 speed manual- but you dont have shift it manually.... I'll try to get some more video of it soon ....
Hi nice truck! I have almost the same truck coming in February. I opted for the same 7 inch exhaust tips and my salesman told me the shortest they come is 36 inches. Yours seem shorter which I prefer for overhead door clearance. Are yours 3 foot or shorter? Thanks.
Thanks very much ... I honestly couldn't make up my mind between the two ...lol ... for years I wanted a 800 but then the 880 was invented ... we needed 2 trucks - so we just went one of each ...
Thanks! ... this is a X15 Cummins... the only engines you can get now are Cummins or paccar - cat is no longer available... 18 spd ultrashift is really nice! I will have to get some video of it driving- its different for sure
And yet you'll never be able to get a truck like this ...ever thought about losing the crappy attitude and actually contributing to society... there's nothing cool about yelling to your mom upstairs asking for more chicken nuggets .... you basement closet dwelling dweeb
@@user-qt8zt6zg6w yeah right ... I notice you have no videos and no subscribers ... another loser .... go make your own video so we can all come to.your page and tell you how everything your doings wrong ... sorry showcasing part of our life and operation offended you.... and by way, go to every corporate trucking social media page and complain about every new truck ever ordered ....
