Kenyan Athlete Joseph Machuka Punched an Ethiopian Gebresellasie in the finals of Men's 10,000 meters international race during 1992 World Junior Championships in Seoul - South Korea. Only few meters to win Gold Medal, Ethiopian Athlete out-sprints him and takes the Gold Medal. The great runners of Africa were my heroes and inspiration during my track and X-country days. This incident is disgusting, shameful, and a far cry from the honorable behavior of the majority of Kenyan runners. Losing his Silver medal should have been the least of his problems. He should have been banned from international competition.
