I deleted my previous comment because I didn't articulate it well. My point is, whether or not we believe he said it , or whether or not it is a common language used in South Africa. It was a severe allegation of racism and should never be taken lightly. And speaking to a few South Africans they have said it is a more common language than we let on. As I said I have experienced more racism here then I ever did in Australia so I don't expect you as a white person to understand tthat.

Just because a player has white or black players on their team, it doesn't mean they won't have a reason to make a racial slur to a player on the opposite team. Rasse was right when he said the boks have a big speed bump to get over before the final.. and that’s exactly what the Eng game was.. as soon as I saw the rain and wet conditions I knew what was going to happen.. Eng played a hungover boks from the monumental french quarter final.. Eng then played a kick chase and hope game and it worked for 70mins right up until the point the boks showed finishing class and astronomical belief and mental strength in last 10mins that Eng were never going to have same skill set to do what the boks did in the last 10… well done boks and again this is the only show that is given the reality and not the one eyed rubbish out there saying Eng were brilliant….. my arse they were… they were lucky it was wet conditions

In all honesty - they’re not. England Rugby had until 10am this morning to file a formal complaint, and they didn’t. The English media tries to speak for their players, rugby board, and nation, but they’re very separate. Saying this as a Bok supporter (living in England).
Months back when the hype around Ireland and France was at it's height already, I told many people that there is a little secret and that is the world cup still needs to be played for. I actually saw a newspaper article with the title: "Why Springbok fans have to accept that France has already won the world cup". That was months before the start of the world cup. I was flabbergasted and smiled at the same time.
Yes - and the arrogance and hype of Irish fans, especially after they pipped us in that pool game was just next level - i read many , many comments from Irish fans and I replied to a number by saying that Ireland don't have ANY (ZERO) stripes in the WC and that NZ have plenty of winning mentality in World Cups and so, in my comments, I predicted that Ireland would lose to NZ - and that SA would dispose of the hosts - my nerves were seriously frayed during the English semi final though as I just could not see the pattern of play changing - but it did and Ox literally scrummed through the English front row - some seriously bent backs and necks needing treatment for the 3rd and 4th play off - Ireland fans..your team needs to earn their stripes - not Noddy Badges between campaigns - another secret is that Rassie plans for the odd loss here and there - losing is more important than winning and the 17 game winning streak was actually Irelands noose -
Our selection will have to be perfect. The team clearly looked tired. We played Scotland, Ireland, France, England and now New Zealand in the final. No one has had as tough a journey as the Springboks in this World Cup.

I did not think we would make the final. Only time I felt this, since 87. Happy that it’s Boks ABs. I expect the ABs to play for 90 min as will the Boks. I hope they watch the 95 final and the 35-7 beat down. Then go to work.
England had a brilliant first half, scoring points 12, imposing their game and holding South Africa from scoring tries, but they managed to score 6 points, so in a general perspective looked like it was all England, however no tries, as you said no creating try opportunities, why? , going to the locker room 12 - 6. It is clear the selection of South African players for the 1st half was wrong, and Rassie started to fix it progressively by getting Pollard into the pitch, the answer was the bomb squad. And that is all about to achieve a victory, use all the tools at your disposal. So the 2nd half, imho England got a bit flat, South Africa started to put pressure on England and set their game instead of playing England game as the 1st half, , at 51m there was a sign of it, Willie le Rox almost score a try, he just kicked the ball too hard, also they discipline was spot on and they didn't concede penalties which was a game changer. What happened with England, besides a gem drop goal,?, South Africa had few advantages the scrum, kicking and players to disrupt England game, and yes time was running out, but South Africa managed to get the try and a kick on time. I'm still asking to myself, why England couldn't create try opportunities?, because that it's all about in this game, A great team imposing their game, but the other team getting around with a solution and get a victory like a champion.
Mark, I can relate. It all went tits-up because I forgot to put my Springbok cap on for the match. As soon as I put it on during the second half the game changed for us.
The truth is that I will be a gutted bok supporter if we lose the final, but losing to the mighty All Blacks is not something we will need to feel ashamed about. As an armchair observer it seems like the boks might have already emptied their tank with those tough games against Ireland, Scotland, Tonga, France and even the Poms were a tough opponent, the AB's have only had 2 tough games and could very well have more energy than the boks in the final. Hoping that Jacques and Rassie can pull a few tricks out the hat for this one. Finally a big thanks to Jacques from bok supporters for the role you played in giving us something to be proud of again and all the best for your new venture in Ireland, it's going to be hard for us if you end up coaching another team against the boks though, but somehow it sort of feels inevitable.

That match reminded me of the historic "Ali vs Foreman" boxing match years ago. Ali on the ropes taking a pounding throughout the fight, to see an opening when exhausted Foreman let his guard down, and then bang!....Foreman on the canvas...down and out. There are no rules on how to win the game, whether it be a pretty or an ugly win. We're in the knockout stages of the tournament...and that's exactly what the Boks did....knocked England out of the tournament.
On Ben o' Keefe: The ruck time calls in the first half made me doubt everything I thought I knew about rugby. England had hands in our rucks, didn't release their balls. We were penalised for playing the ball without rucks and balls that were a foot behind the rucks... Second half seemed to even out a bit, but yoh that first half...
There was definitely something going on with O'keefe. Did you see how he was almost -dare I say- angry with us. Weird. Maybe the French media got to him😂
