Stokley's voice on that part reminds me of an airplane ascending into the sky. I know that sounds weird. I just love that part of the song and when he sings "thiiiis feeling is the one thing" OMG!!!! Gives me chills
Was one of my favorites but "So Fine" will always be one of the top Mint Condition song for me Man between the dynamics, Stokely's vocals and the guitar work and the interplay between the two, which definitely blew me away, I used to sit there and get lost in that song over and over

There is always that one song that brings that nostalgic feeling that takes you back to your childhood. For me it's this song! Everytime I hear this song I'm in middle school again, harmonizing with my cousin in the court yard trying to do this song justice with our little 12 yr old 2 part harmony 😂 We did alright tho! 😊

I'm so mad I didn't grow up in that era. Instead I was born right after y'all got signed. I was born in March of 1990. But I'm also so mad that y'all haven't gotten more recognition. You guys music always gives me chills and speaks to my soul. It moves me! The fact that you guys are actual musicians still is mind blowing........ God made you guys a band on purpose. I'm grateful for y'all. Period. Lol my daddy is y'all's age I believe. So of course he's the one that got me hip...... Since October, I have listened to If you Love me and So fine and You send me swinging multiple times everyday!!! Each time I listen, I hear something different! AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGG!!!! 90s were a crazy time, gangster rap and lots of raunchy stuff going on. Mint condition was a great balance ❤ they were and are cream of the crop. Thankful to be able to experience this era that was just about the last to do it. Authentic and mucho talent
I played this song and album till I broke the cassette tape. Bought every Mint album that ever came out. Even the cassette singles when they had A and B sides with the remixes. Lol
Been grooving on Mint Condition since the beginning. My favorite band plays real instruments, has killer vocals and a class about them not seen to much then and now. @jackie d, The reason Mint Condition broke up was due to Toni Braxton & Keri Lewis getting married. Keri fell hard for Toni & pretty much told the members of Mint Condition, "Peace Out!"
Awesome...Man what always did it for me with this song in addition to the vocals was the chord progressions..Regarding y’alls intros I loved the intro of What Kind of Man (you on steel drums) and I liked the intro on underrated Change Your Mind..Oh lastly Sam Cooke..the greatest R&B singer ever.. and please do Stevie’s Super Women lol
I really enjoyed this video. This took me back in my 20s. What a fun time for music and dating. I dated a guy that tasted something good in a restaurant and referenced the song, Swinging. When we tasted something good back in the day, we would say it was swinging. Glad you guys had a chance to meet Stevie Wonder. I missed him at a prayer meeting he had with my old Pastor almost 10 years ago. He was going to surprise us and I missed it.
