Me and loving it bring back memories of the 90s and makes me want that real love ❤️ in a soul mate I prey to god 🙏🏿 hen send me a god fearing praying woman
I know right I love male singers a bit more than female singers you really can feel their voices and those lyrics. I'm getting goosebumps listening to Stokely now.
@@sexykrabz4185 Kut Klose! Lol, wow! I remember I bought their debut album, but after that I never heard from them again, kind of like groups such as Brownstone and Jade
No twerking, no cussing, no nudity, no obscene lyrics, just talented brothers singing about being in love. I'll take this any day over what is playing on the radio today. #90s❤
THISSSSS FEELING IS THE ONE THING MY HEART IS SURE OF SO IIIIIIIIIII!!!! I feel that part deep down in my soul no matter how many times I hear or play this song. I was born in 92 but I promise my soul is before my time lol 90s was the best though.
I would definitely pay to see these guys play. I have been a fan since they first came out over twenty five years ago. Most talented but severely underrated. Gifted musicians and vocalist. Stokely.....AWESOME!!!!
Listen to this song and don't just fall in love with Stokley. Sit back and listen to everything. The background vocals, harmonies, instrumentation and the whole nine. And remember. They write all of their own music. Still to this day.
Ummm...lol normally I would probably agree with you, here. Other than the fact that Jodeci's "Diary Of A Mad Band" came out in '93, one of the greatest R&B albums ever made. There were at least 4 songs on that album better than this one But I will do you one BETTER....this song is better than any R&B song to touch the radio in the past 10 years
When this comes on I can't turn it off. Have to listen to the whole thing LOUD. No one could have orchestrated some super tight fly shit like BUT MC. GO MINT!!!!!!!
I wait for a day.... instead of easy chicks these days... music was magical back then. With heart and soul. Riffs and melody. It out kive and romantic gestures in your soul... Mint Condition thank you gentlemen.......
When they first came out, they were doing FREE concerts on HBCU's. They came to SC State University and I literally spent the day with Stokely. "The" coolest brotha ever. I asked every question I could and he was so righteous. Will always love and remember that time. I was an aspiring musician then and this was teh first song that I brought to the Mighty Kicks! I play it better now.
Classic Mint Condition! My Jam here! Played this one endlessly! Stokely put his mark on this one! You send me swingin. . . The Instruments are Fire 🔥! Much Love!
Look at Stokley puttin' it down and singin' his ass off. I've seen them live here on YT and he always manages to eclipse what he's done on record. I actually prefer them live. This song has defined my life in more ways than one. I used to keep this song spinnin' on repeat for hours on end. And when he hit and held that big *I* note near the end, I was so done. Nowadays, he's a little more reserved, vocally, but hey... It's all good. This is always gon be my jam.
These lyrics... I wait for the day A sweet gentle sway rocks your love right my way Oh, you send me swingin', you send me swingin'. Oh, you send me swingin'. I never thought I'd really find someone so beautiful and kind. Oh, what you've done to me with just the little things you do. You've got me crazy over you and it's getting stronger When I'm with you I fall deeper in love, swingin' this feeling is the one thing my heart is sure of. I wait for the day A sweet gentle sway rocks your love right my way Oh, you send me swingin', you send me swingin'. Oh, you send me swingin'. Just thinkin' 'bout you and all the things that we could do together as one If only you could see how sweet your love is to me so heavenly No other way to say just how I feel for you,
