The part about him crying was out of context. It was not a response to getting hate, it was because he was visibly in a bad mood and said something negative on stream the day before and he regretted acting like that in front of fans. We can only speculate the reason for why he was in a bad mood that day, it might be because of the trolls, or it might not be. He did however also say he had personal problems as well as other things going on.

Getting the vibe if Cadrel was still streaming from Korea in the T1 house he'll walk over to Keria, give him a hug and say "F the haters, keep doing what you're doing".

Part of the keria video is true but he was more upset over the fact that in a previous stream he was visibly in a bad mood and accidently let out ''I dont want to live anymore/living is hard'' which sparked hate from some fans (crazy I know) and it was all too much for him

Those "haters" might have some troubles in their life, like addiction to criticism. The people flaming are probably not even the true fans. They might be hardcore ultra fans from other teams trying to destabilize players personally. I understand Keria because any criticism can be very painful, it hurts even physically sometimes. Though he has to learn how to stay totally unattached to this. He cannot control it, he can only watch it like leaves being blown away from the trees. And I hope he will continue to talk about it aswell, because it's important to express how he feels. As Caedrel poetically said it, those flamers are probably sick themselves. And need some serious self-inquiry.

Imo this happens very often in Korea, even in soloq games ppl flame others or doge when “off meta” or “weird”picks were played. I get it that ppl are triggered if this happens in soloq, but in pro play, both teams know that those picks are for experiment or innovation (they probably played into it in scrims already). If none of this cooking was done on stage and scrims, how are teams suppose to find out what is “strong” and”meta”? After all it’s the team and players who decides what’s meta, not the bronze fan who complains about players wasting practice. It’s the teams decision to pick range support in game, It could be his coach or his teammates who suggested the pick, and fans are flaming keria for it without knowing what actually happened in comms, unbelievable.

He cried for another reason, in the previous live he wasn't in a good mood and ended up saying something a little negative, at the same time he said that what he said came out accidentally but he still felt sorry and bad afterwards for the fans and cried a little that's why. He was probably stressed about everything at once.

This is the problem with T1 being sort of on the "kpop" status in korea. While there will be fans of the whole team, there will always be those who "stans" only 1 player. And I can almost guarantee you the people saying this are Gumayusi stans that feels like Keria is outshining Guma by playing either ADC supports or Farming supports while Guma plays fasting Senna. That mindset is really prevalent in kpop stan culture.

Tbf if you follow keria’s streams, he seems to have been in a bad state mentally even before that ez pick. I think there are several stress points that are affecting him at the moment and like many others there are days when he feels better and days when he feels worse. Even guma yesterday said that he can’t completely know what Keria was thinking and what was weighing on him. Out of the 5 of them, no one seems to struggle mentally as much as keria so he also feels uncomfortable sharing when he’s struggling.

I don't know how they don't like Keria's unorthodox picks, Yes I like his usual Supp picks but when he goes unconventional I always love seeing it, You don't expect them and thoroughly enjoy them

I for example love their ability to create and try new comps when they can. I feel like for example mid is kinda dry with same champs alot lately but seeing things like ezreal supp is fun to watch no matter who they play against.

I appreciate Keria playing off-meta stuff as support because *I* want to aswell, and I have wanted to ever since I started playing this game. I'm sure a lot of other people are in the same boat, no matter what role you play, avoiding picking off-meta because *you* will be blamed for a loss even though the problem is usually the person complaining. People think certain champs don't belong in certain lanes / are useless overall, etc etc, when a pro player plays something "troll" people realize it's actually decent. Especially main champs with high mastery or OTPs that could be played pretty much anywhere and succeed (take Polypuff's Bard for example, Gamergirl's Katarina, etc). I remember when Ashe support was questionable and now it's super popular. My experience is all from NORMS by the way, not even ranked (I never want to play that shit). It's not only an issue in League, games in general nowadays are all about min maxing even outside of ranked gamemodes :/

I've been seeing Hate comments or "PrayForGuma" comments in CN social media, especially aft the Keria Ezreal series. It just appeared suddenly. (Note, I do not know Korean, and Im not sure If it's the Korean/CN people starting it) But most T1 fans I see and know are fine with whatever T1 is doing ever since they won worlds, heck we will even allow Oner to play Yuumi Jg. The bandwagoners and the ragebaiters, are relentless in using T1 to attack other top teams. It has gotten to a point where you have to block the term "T1" in bilibili danmaku in LPL Live to spare your sanity.

After I read some comments here, I feel bit sad that it seems a bit misrepresented to the West. Keria said that he doesn't mind those comments because he knows that he is loved by fans. But his fans were stressed out because of disparaging comments about Keria. even that he and his fans doesn't want to care about them, those haters came to his personal broadcast and harasses him. He ignored it till now, but he decided he had to say something because his fans(we) were stressed out.

Funniest thing about the Keria thing is how they think his teammates hate him for his picks. And truth is, they don’t… Their coaches are all worlds winning ones. Behind the scenes content would indicate how much practice and research they do for every pick. They won’t let Keria do anything he wants, just because he likes to play some off meta champs. They prepare for every single thing. They approve of drafts and plays as a team. Guma suggested the Ezreal pick during the FOX match. He also kept on saying on his stream and interviews that he is fine with the picks. And they practiced for it. He even often praised Keria for it. Like, stop with the “if I were Guma” talks, because you’re not him. And if you were to ask him, he’s happy with letting Keria play other champs. So stop with all these nonsense talk.
