My grandfather had two small tattoos from his time as a seafarer, but in old age they went all blurry and faded. Not a good look!

Really why? How does this affect their capabilities their prowess for any position. Having worked in the big business industry for many years most of the booted and suited ones I knew were a waste of space.

@@francescostello1377 firstly, anyone who is prepared to have hot needles stuck into their skin for some supposed fashion statement is one brick short of a house. Secondly, we were in a sales industry and thankfully most people are normal and be put off by someone with a tattoo. My experience of big business, which we were in, was the smarter the person was in terms of being suited and booted the more successful they were. I suspect your contempt of the booted and suited one’s was that they were more successful than you and probably in charge of you.

@@djbogz1921 like most people today, you have read what you wanted to read. I said that we would never employ someone with VISIBLE tattoos. I know some of the staff had tattoos but they knew without being told that they couldn’t have them showing. Thankfully, someone with neck, facial or below the elbow tattoos never bothered to apply for jobs, as I suspect they realised, the same as if that had green dyed hair or multiple facial piercings , that it wouldn’t be appropriate in that business environment. I suspect people applying for a job with a six figure salary were bright enough to realise that a visible tattoo was not appropriate.

Face tattoos mean one of three things. Maori, wannabe Maori, or criminal. Possibly some combination of those.

@@mr2981 I knew someone who got a full face black tribal. It changed how I viewed him completely. He clearly never wanted to work again and wanted people to fear him I think when he was a complete idiot. I was a female bouncer and he was in the club going after girls and I told him strait. You might think you look cool but everyone else doesn’t like it. Especially young girls. I told him to leave. Absolute joke of a man. 🙄

I think it depends on the tattoo.Some are nice and some are not.

I prefer tattoos over plastic surgery and I find tattoos far less offensive to the eyes than plastic surgery and these two women have both had so much done!

Ironically so are a lot of people with tattoo's, Rude, arrogant, generally unpleasant and totally incapable of debate.

It's very disrespectful to your body to cover it in filthy black ink that is recognised in many unsavoury characters. It looks worse on Women...it's not classy..it's a tarty,dirty hard look ! I love many family members who have passed away but wouldn't get all their remembrance tattooed on my body as my body would be fully covered....🤢🤮 They live in my heart and memory...that means more than a filthy black tattoo.

Absolutely! I don’t like face tattoos, because I believe they’re intimidating…. But I’ve seen some really nice sleeve tattoos, and my own son, who is in the airforce, he has a sleeve tattoo. It’s of old English armour, with chain mail. Incredibly clever. He is a decent, kind, intelligent and moral man. I’m sure your son is too. Ötzi, the 5300 year old man they found in ice, he had 61 tattoos. It’s been around for THOUSANDS of years.
