There is no charger connected , it is an old car that I use all the time, I also noticed that her alternator is very bad. Are the cables connected, believe me no battery has 12.7V when you write an ECU. Think logically when you diagnose the battery has 12.4 - 12.5V, when you write an ECU, the battery voltage would drop much below 12.4V

Hello, if you want to use it only for a specific car, yes it is worth it. If you want to do this as a hobby and start working with other cars, I don't recommend it. It is out of date and needs to be programmed to work. The software also has installation problems and many errors when trying to connect. If you are willing to pay 80 euros for it and another 150 euros in parts to change all the components then you can try. I have a video where I show you how to do these Reworks.

@@dizelas8890 Here is a problem because in the period 2006-2012 there are 3 generations of ECU from different brands such as Bosch, Denso, Continental, etc. So if you want a clone to read so many different brands of ECU you need to take money out of your pocket. Probably the only clone that could read that many ECUs is foxFlash. But it's too expensive for a clone!

@@dizelas8890 KT200 is identical to foxFlash. No difference in functionality when talking about ECU reading. Both can be used offline now if you buy the Dongle separately. Both are the evolution of the Galletto clone. You buy the one you like more !

I think you're joking if you mean the BMW 5 series G30 and you want to look for clones or something cheap. Why don't you go to a company that does tuning, pay and take no stress and it's much cheaper than buying.

@@YOYODiagnostic the thing is they are doing exactly same thing, reading the file from obd, getting the modified map file from file service, writing the file from obd that’s it, if the clone kess reads/writes to my car I can easily do that since I did it before on my F10.

@@0SinfulAngeL0 yesterday i helped a car with ecu problems and it was an F10. The edc17cp45 was installed in it, if the Kess V2 clone bought on AliExpress can read and write this ECU via obd, I will give you the Flex Master programmer as a gift. The idea was that it is not worth buying a programmer to write only an ECU. maybe you want to use it to make some money later, that's something else, but you can't buy a programmer to modify your car that you keep for several years, it doesn't seem logical to me. If you are looking for a clone to do this job, the KT200 v2 can serve you without any problems.

@@YOYODiagnostic thanks sir, I just want to read & write files to my car that’s it, it is based on 2 main reasons, first one is that in my country ECU remapping is too expensive and there are no good quality companies around, second reason is that I am a software engineer and basically just wanted to discover this thing ☺️ So the adapter you mentioned in the comment works with g30? Are there any seller has this one on AliExpress? Thanks 🙏

Only for kess CHINA clone. I have one of cp2010 clone and works every time 💪 (purple pcb)

@@HobbySMD And both are still clones. I read on a BMW 730 with the same ECU and it worked, just like I said in the video once it works another time it doesn't. Indeed the purple ones were with rework ready done and for this reason they were more effective.
