As I've already said in another video, you should consider a Patreon or any other way so we can help you buy different tools, to try and compare and give us your opinion. Like that, you don't need to spend a lot of money buying scrap clones, but would help us say if it is worth spending the money on it, rework, or better sent it to garbage. I've already read that opinion from another subscriber.
I have Kess and ktag clone, also MPPS V18 clone, and used it for 2years. And tested them good, here are my experience :) Bricked ecu's on purpose, and tryed recovery on 15 ECU's. All 15 ECU got recovery, one of the cars ( Opel ) i needed to disconnect battery and connect to get contact again and get recovery. All ECU's was EDC15 / 16. ( Not tryed bricked EDC17 yet, will try as fast someone have a car thats going to scrap ) Kess v2 tricore work also good with EDC17C14 :) Good tool for the money, but cheap components and need to remember that one day it mby not gonna work more if your not rework it. Hello. If you rework them you do a decent job with them. For Hobby they are ok but for Profi it is not worth the risk with these programmers. Even with Flex I managed to burn a processor from a BMW ECU when I made an Ecu Clone to an EDC17. The new generation EDC17 on the BMW and VAG range have problems when you write Eeprom not when you write Flash. The funniest thing was when I wrote Flash on a 2014 Audi A6 and after a while that car came to the Audi service representative and there the Audi people asked the owner the date he wants to update the car's software. During the ECU Update it no longer worked. This is not the first case I have heard of, so if you change something in Flash and then you want to Update via OBD you will burn ECU. you can write Flash 50 times on OBD but if you update to all ECu then you will be unlucky.

My question is about kess v2, I have an original that has 10 days left to be blocked due to updating to kess 3, do you know how I can avoid blocking? any crack or hack to do this? @@ByBpt Hi. Covers the entire range from BMW, VAG and newer Peugeot. from EDC15 to EDC17. In the video I used a Citroen 2018 and as I said it covers all the ECU for the brands mentioned above. It does not compare to more expensive programs where they have approved all brands but the price is not the same. it depends on which brands interest you the most.

it depends on which car it is installed. if you read it on a Fiat or Iveco, it will work on OBD. If you want to read it from a Zafira it won't work, you have to read Bench.
which clone card tool to be able to extract the key pin via obd2 for a fiat panda, the person who sold me the car did not give me the codes, and I understood that in theory it is possible to make a backup from the obd2 of the eeprom and extract those two codes (I think they are two). I'm looking but in the meantime I still haven't figured out which eeprom it is and then if there is a low cost / clone card that can do it. Tuning programmers cannot read eeprom via OBD, they read only Flash. You may be able to get the pin code if you go to someone who programs keys, as many such programmers are capable of extracting the pin code. Another option is to disassemble the ECU and read the eeprom separately with the EEProm programmer.

No matter what clone you use you risk blocking the ecu. This ECU is tuning protected. I recommend reading it in Bench. If you want to buy a clone, go for the kt200v2
Hello, when you use clones you will always have a risk, even the original ones will have problems. It would be good if your programmer is one with Rework done!
I'm too old to remember what I did with that machine, but one thing is clear that I showed that it can be read with these cheap clones, for those who don't have money. 😉 If I have programs installed on a laptop, it doesn't mean that I have to use it on that car, it's just that it's installed..
Have u tried to flash, probably all of them will brick eeprom! After 2008 c34 is not safe to do in OBD with Genuine tools also. But why not asking! Have a nice day.
Hello. Yes a map change was made and I wrote with Kess. It's not the first time I've written this ecu on OBD at Peugeot - Citroen. I never had the problem. 👍
Version 21 had problems reading and writing after 10 uses. It was something like the old version kess that ran out of Tokens after a few uses, but it seems that this one. The problem was solved by using another Dump. I don't recommend buying these clones anyway. There are others that are much more effective.
Does this pull a .bin from the ecu? Why I am asking is because I am attempting retrieve the .bin from the ecu and then search for the missing parameters that are not defined.
Your question makes me laugh. Do you think I only read and wrote these ECU's once? from 2010 to the present than this is what I do. If something doesn't work, I won't show you, I just often shorten the video because it's too long and many people get bored. But you can be sure that it works.
