Greetings from Dominican Republic, an advise to those that ask for software, this channel is more to show the reality of some diagnostic tools, mostly the clones , what can do and what can't , so we the mere mortals don't waste our money on trash or brick a module using low quality equipment
Do not ask for Software link because this RU-vid channel does not sell products or software, it is meant to help you with some information. That is, to prevent you from the problems that others have gone through. The first comment received on this video was where is the download link, the answer is simple, the link is found on those who sell programs.
Hello And Thank You for the detailed videos on automotive diagnostics. I purchased a Kess V2 and received aliexpress a few days ago, It bundled with ver 2.80 KSuite . Problem is the CD has NO USA model cars in the software. I can see on your KSuite 2.90 it does have Chevrolet (US) showing... I honestly thought even the clone KESS V2 came with USA cars possibilities. Any ideas. Thanks again
@@YOYODiagnostic , Hi Yoyo,,,I did email you about the new KSuite v 2.90 software...Would like to get something that can be used on North American cars. My unit has not even been used as of now. Don't know how i missed this reply. Thank You
Was wandering what you think about the master x17mag2pro - now is 1500 euro all protocols and no updates and no fees. Should be no reason to by a kess clone as this would be much better no?
I have never experienced this, in the case of the edc17c60 I made a correction with FC200 and I was surprised that it stopped starting. I rewrote the program without the checksum correction and kept the modified Dump with WinOls and it worked perfectly.
Thanks 👍. I also said in the video that I used WinOls all the time. This video was to show them not to do that. There are many subscribers who are learning to do this for the first time and not to make mistakes like this, we will show them what happens.
Hello, I have 2 questions. If anyone can help me I would be very grateful, I bought a kess and I'm a beginner, I'm still learning about it. I have an ed16u34 passat B6 (personal car), I read the map made a stage 1 and a dpf off and made the checksum with ecm titanium. Is the ecm titanium good for stage1? Good for checksum? K-Suite 2.80 make checksum automatically? or need checksum made before writing?
It gived me the same error on my e70 x5 edc 16c35,but car started without problem.iade the checksum correction but still giving this error.i think this is just bicous is a clone .but not shure.what you think.?
Did you clone the ECU and do a immo off? I'm kinda having the same issue with a vag med17.1. I do a immo off in eprom and micro and I get a checksum error p106A or I get a memory fault but no safe on the dash. I did a different way for immo off and I get safe on the dash but no checksum error or memory error. Both ways car starts fine. But both ways have their own issues.
Hello. edc17c60 but it wasn't a problem it just didn't work and I had to do the correction manually. FC200 did not work as it should. on this ECU the best is Flex which has never failed.
Hello, I have a Honda CRV and I sent my file to be reprogrammed. Would you be so kind as to look at the original and the modified one and tell me if the checksum is correct and if I would have no problem writing it? Thank you very much, I hope your answer
The issue you were having with it keep saying turn on and then turn off and doing nothing is due to the fact the battery voltage is too low. I had this exact situation, I connected a charger and voltage went up to over 13v and kess was happy and it read and wrote maps no problem.
Hello. If you listen carefully there is another car running that has the cables connected to the Audi. With a little attention, you can hear the engine starting from the 2nd car while I write the ECU.
@@YOYODiagnostic What? You have the Audi connected to another car and only have 12.5v 🤦🏻♂️🤣 that should be atleast 13.5v and with a good electrical system and good alternator 14v and more.
@@stiggyness1976 You noticed correctly and I had the same question, but I will also give you an answer. I have a video where I compare this clone with MPPS and it doesn't show me the voltage at all but it still works. So if you had 0 Volts it shouldn't start and everything was written successfully. This is the result when we use Clone !
@@YOYODiagnostic hi Yoyo, i have read that connect 2 cars to maintain battery while ecu writing, its a very not good idea, because can happen amperage raise/drop and ecu is bricked immediately. Can you please confirm or deny it? I don't know what to think about it, i did it already like you 3 times, was no problem, but it was written by a trusted tuner on a forum 😮
@@mrt-ee1zn Hello, Every programmer even those clones have voltage regulator. If you're going to watch one of the rework videos made by me, always change those voltage regulators with original ones or with USA or Japan quality ones. If this happens to me at least once, I wouldn't do it again, so I don't believe it until I see it.
Hello, if you have time and see thus message, i need some help. Starting with programming, alredy doing some locksmith with autel 508s, and mini key tool for start. I need advice what to buy for dpf, egr and adblue. Also for virgin, clone and reprogram ecu. My idea for strat is sm2, kess/ktag, and ktm200, also some godiag adapters. Budget is 1000$. Is that ok or you thinks something else is better. Thanks very much.
Hi, the programmers you mentioned above are part of a different era, rather than buying 4 15 year old clones you better buy one and a good one. If you don't have money to buy something original then turn your attention to KT200v2
@@YOYODiagnosticI cloned ECU and did immo off. I'm having an issue with a vag med17.1. I do a different way for immo off and I get safe on the dash but no checksum error or memory error. Both ways car starts fine. But both ways have separate issues. I don't want to adapt 2nd ECU to other modules because I still need stock unmodified 1st ECU for inspection. Not sure what to do? I'm guessing get a virgin infineon sak tc1796 and copy dump from original ECU on to chip and solder onto second ECU?
@@sejokukuljac211 Ktag clone is too old for 2022, the year we are in, can read ECUs up to 2010. These ECUs are fitted to models up to 2012-2014. after no chance. So on a BMW G series car you have no chance. Instead, if you don't have a lot of money to invest in programmers, buy FC-200 for Bosch or if you want universal, buy Scanmatik and activate the protocols you need in turn. You can do the same if you buy Flex, there is no need to activate the full software for 5000 euros, but you can buy the programmer for 1000 euros and activate only what you need. Of all, I recommend Flex, the best customer service.
is this device still able to read an ECU that is from a model not listed? im talking an older ford eec-v that has j1850pwm protocol... i think it is simlar to the focus of that age 1998-2002 .. . it is a non-european model
@@npnferramentasferramentasd812 unfortunately I don't distribute software, that's not the purpose of this channel. You didn't read the comment I posted. I only help people with Card repair from this device when it has errors and not working.
Hello. Unfortunately some can only do so much. As you noticed imagine how my head feels when I see dozens of emails like this, people don't understand that I'm not selling Software here, I'm trying to show them what works and what doesn't. 👍
@@mohbel6515winols 2.24 or winols 4.51 for checksum correction. I was having some random issues with 4.7.7 on checksum and certain features doing funny things.
