Todd's Kitchen I know I tried your lamb shank in red wine sauce recipe, my biggest kitchen fluke ever, would've been about 3 years ago the shanks turned out amazing! To this day I still haven't managed to replicate the dish, seems to be a one off, my daughter still raves about it which I still call (to this day) my biggest kitchen fluke ever.😁
2019 is really bringing some changes huh. Real cheese, grater, samurai knives....... Can't wait to see more.... This recipe is more like my style of cooking, one pot, chuck 'em all in!

I would leave off the carrots and I would have thickened the sauce with heavy whipping cream and maybe a pinch of Xanthum gum powder. I would have upped the garlic a little more. That is not all that many tweaks so you are close to the target already. I like things kind of spicey so I usually add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper or a diced jalepenio or a cherrano pepper to a lot of my food. I will try this though definately. See you next time Greggo. A little dry wine is not going to kill you either way. I keep under 20 grams of carbs per day and I fast for 18 hours on days with a T in them. I never eat after 6 o'clock pm unless I am dining with my beautiful wife.

For keto: Use 2 cans stewed tomatoes and spices to make spaghetti sauce (has no sugar) ( I use immersion blender to pulverize the tomatoes and mixing spices), use no carrots (has carbs); use cheese as a topping, but much less of it; use broccoli, lots of it (goes well with sausage and other meats) and has lots of fiber. Sliced peppers: like green and red, are good to add to this. Could make this like a creole sauce (with a sprinkle of cheese as a topping). Add toasted cauliflower rice or butter-roasted cauliflower florets as a base in the bowl or on top of the dinner.

How to make it keto: use onion and garlic powder, add sausages (fried in a bowl of butter), use one tablespoon of tomato paste and spices of your liking, stirred through a sauce of heavy cream (add a bucket of this). Use only the cauliflower and green stuff from the frozen veg, then add a buttload of cheese and stir. Kind of like sausage stroganoff on steroids!!! 😄😄
Keto diet is just the term of the diet that uses ketogenesis (caffeine plays a vital role in this to turn fat into energy instead of insulin with sugar, and sugar/carbohydrates get turned into stored energy) but people seem to assume keto is something else

When I've done my research, you are just saying to people to look at someone who isn't telling you everything, see I googled ketogenesis, and you know what, wiki advertising said it right when I landed on the results, as it's the huge part of the diet, yet is obvious that there's people who are trying to mislead others so they fail and wonder why, yet the reasons obvious, the apparently reputable person etc lied about it, just to keep them fat so they can get more money sucked from them... Just subscribed because in one of your videos you made me laugh really hard that I spit my yoghurt out on my backpack. And now som of that drinking yoghurt I spit out now looks like stars on my backpack.
I was intimidated by doing the keto thing. I'm a drunkard who loves to cook, drink and eat, but turns out it's not very hard at all. Vodka with flavoured soda water (no sugar just sodium, turns out you need sodium) all the eggs/meats/cheese you want, along with replacing high carb veggies in meals with low carb veggies. I ate and drank great stuff and lost 15kg in about 3 months. Didn't exercise a lot, just a little. My tip, if you're not super active don't go high fat. Medium fat or as I call it, half a chub.
Hi Greg, I made something like this. Can of diced tomatoes, oregano, rosemary, garlic, chopped cooked turkey sausage, frozen broccoli, little butter, when done add a little shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top. Could you make a keto pizza video? Thanks! 💖👌👍
If you didn't want rice or pasta with this, I'd have cauliflower rice. Just blitz up a cauliflower in a blender until fine, then fry in a little oil, or water.

Greg, everything was great, the only real no no there was the jar of pasta sauce which has heaps of sugar in. I'm sure you could make this without it and it would still taste great. Honestly the keto diet is great. Don't listen to the fat= bad crowd. Fat is fuel!
Mate, Greggo! Add the bacon with the onions and garlic, and forget the mixed veg. the tomato sauce should be the only carb. keto is suppossed to be practically alll fat!
Greggo, this recipe is quite keto friendly..... ummm except for the Dolmio pasta sauce. That crap would contain so much sugar and MSG, it's going to kick you out of Keto in an instant.
I think keto cooking means not putting carbs in. I balance carbs in my diet. The are actually good for ya also, just not in large portions. And eat organic carbs like real bread! Not the air puff wounder bread with high fructose corn syrup!! Recipe looks good bro!👍

I just laughed at the entire video because this is me when I'm going to a diet " ok a little of potatoes, but it's boiled and it's good so add a little more " "oh it's a salad, but only letuce...hm corn it's good tho so add more, and add this this this..." then I say to myself "I'm sticking good to my diet "
Close enough to Keto for me...I'm low carb, not zero carb! Give me a break, I've given up pasta, rice, flour and high carb bread....life is for living god damnit lol
That dish is not KETO, sorry Grego. A low carb meal mat\ybe but not KETO. Leave out the root veggies and the sugar laden tomato sauces and the rest would work. Keto is supposed to be 50% good fats, and 10 percent or 20 grams of carbs per day/, and the rest protiens. Coffee is good and eggs, butter are ok, but not flour, no grains and not potatoes, pasta and no rice. dark green leafy vegeies but no root vegies or fruit. you can have a few berries and yogut if it is full fat type.
