You are so right about onions, I use it liberally too. It's better to sacrifice a few carbs in favour of the taste. When people are too rigid, they end up giving up the diet as there is no pleasure left.

Just cooked this tonight and boy can I say that it was amazing. Used a jalepeno instead of a green Chile and it worked perfectly. Added a few extra spicy ingredients. Bunau’ing the onions is very tedious but it came out delicious

I am not that big eater, but I could easily eat 2 or 3 servings if this delicious curry. So, I will fast tomorrow to be able to eat a lot of this goodness! Thank you!

This video just popped up on my screen. You are right. Curry is different even from household to household !! Recently I brined my chicken (soak in salt water) before cooking and the chicken turned out soft, moist and tender and withstood reheating without drying out. You should try murg musallam recipe. Absolutely delicious.

Finally got around to trying this and I've got to say what a fantastic chicken curry. I added more green chili, and a bunch of okra (bhindi) near the end and it's got to be the best curry I've tried so far this year.

Just made and ate this. Absolutely delicious, I kept the garlic and ginger a little coarse. Woohoo sooo goood

I am pleased to share with you I've made this recipe. And totally hands up. It is amazingly delicious. I've made it with a little twist ie I added a little bit more warm water so that I can drink it as soup and keto bread.

Sahil, where in the heck is the curry powder? : ( LOL. Stupid me thought that curry powder made the dish, but I just educated myself, that curry is a variety of different dishes using all or some of the typical spices. I have most all of them, so I'm about to make this dish of yours! Yum! I have not been as strict on keto in the last few weeks, because of boredom, being at home more, but I'm getting back on track. I've gained about 3 lbs. and I'm going to lose it quickly, before it gets out of hand! Thank you for all your wonderful, delicious recipes!

Lol. I like that you talked about the different curries, so many people talk about curry as if it’s just a generic spice that’s all the same. I’ve had probably 30 different types of curry. Lol some are incredibly different. In the stay at some places Ashley sell a spice that lists the ingredients as curry which doesn’t make sense to me. I have friends from Bangladesh and is mom was showing me how they make different curries but she mixes all her own, I really wish I would’ve written some of them down. For chicken I like some of the flavors she did for the curry came out green and was kind of a thin coating on the chicken as opposed to a sauce to dip or soak it in. I have played with a few different kinds I would really like to learn to differentiate the taste and really know how to make what I want. I’ve got Japanese curry down and they do something similar with the onions to get that kind of gravy thickness and smoothness to the sauce. Other than that are use a hot madras curry with ghee sometimes cream and I’ll add that I was just kind of a flavor spice with a lot of other recipes or even just put it on a hamburger or a steak sometimes. Curry is kind of hard to describe because it is so different and a lot of it has a very unique flavor that you can’t really compare to other foods, like with barbecue sauce you can compare it to a tomato sauce or say it’s sweet or smoky, you can do that to appoint with curry but there’s so many levels of flavor it’s just some thing that’s really hard to describe. I just kind of by what I can find an experiment with it sometimes it comes out great sometimes it doesn’t. 😂

Just made this curry only without the green chilli, and I added heavy cream after taking it off the heat. This recipe is a absolute winner.
