Lol my Keto diet is easy I make 2 peanut butter milkshakes weighing in at 275g mixed with almond mill (zero sugar) and then brocolli peppers, carrots and cauliflower and multivitamin and it’s easy to eat as it’s blended init a drink not the veggies tho
Lol, its all about fat balance which follows calorie balance, albeit not perfectly. Ofc you could it lots of fat on ketogenic diet and still lose body fat, if you are in negative fat balance. Meaning, your fat intake is lower than the amount the body burns up.
Nope ^^^^ Fat will never make you fat. Excess calories above and beyond that which you burn every day makes you fat, no matter where the calories are from.
You won't be gerrin any of MY money! Eating fat and being fat are two different things I get how you could confuse the two because I didn’t really give context but I mean body fat
@@michaeljohnson6053 i was looking into it and i came across a video where they prepared what they called "keto food" and in that video they cooked the bacon in a pan with no olive oil or butter but it is in fact fried
I did a 6 month keto diet during which I fried bacon, it never took me out of ketosis or affected weight loss. You can fry it in coconut oil. I tended to use a non stick pan without oil.
I like how, when talking about cheat meals, he said he'll have "a pizza". Not, "I'll have pizza" (as a generality), or "a few slices of pizza", but rather "a pizza", as in an entire pizza. My man.
If you are muscular enough and train hard enough, most people would be back into ketosis after 8 hours. Doing intermittent fasting will also help with this immensely.
Nice music in the background and he's not all pumped up or trying to throw excitement like most fitness people do. He's breaking down everything in a simple way and in a calm manner.
That is exactly how I felt when I listened to him talking. He has a soothing inspirational way of speaking. I'm doing keto for the last week and coming off the keto flu... This video alone is helping me stay focused and understanding what I need to do to continue this new life style
My friend introduced my with it and Im on keto for 3 months, didn't cheat (didn't have any cravings), I did 16:8 system, now I do OMAD, lost almost 27kg with fasted HIIT and from 2XL t-shirts I'm on M/L, depends on the brand. I feel healthy and strong as hell. I recommend it for all people!💪
Jurgen Sutrisno the first 1-2 months will be hard to work out on because fat adaptation takes a little while, once you're completely fat adapted your efficiently using energy from fat
I just cant believe...almost NO view , NO Likes , NO subscriber. And the video was super informative he explained everything quite simple AND he was a charismatic guy...i just dont get it 😐
paul reeves hi, trying to understand, do you mean you do lift but cut out the training when on keto? Did you keep your muscle or do you have a bodytype of a noodle?
paul reeves I had trained for 3 years , about $15,000 later I decided to quit. My trainer kept telling me to change my diet . He said to be successful diet is 80% and work outs 20%! So I fired the trainer who was a very nice guy but no weight loss was very depressing and was robbing me of my self confidence making me feel like I'm a failure. Changed my diet to keto and so far 30 lbs loss, 6" of waist circumstances lost . Eating keto is less expensive too especially on 2 meals a day
wow, so many errors in basically good info. E.g. you are not fasted after a bullet prove coffee. A bullet prove coffee has tons of calories and interrupters your fast. So if he eats chocolate before going to bed and has a bullet prove coffee in the morning his fasting window will be not that long (8-10h) and the testosterone effect and grows hormone effect is by far not as good as it would be with longer fasting window (12-16h). It obviously works for him but for the majority of people that is not that effective. And coconut oil has MCT but is not MCT and MCTs do not have to go through the liver to be used. And no, our ancestors did not get 75% of tier calories from fat. But most likely they had longer periods where they eat only very rarely and then utilized their fat storage and where probably quite often in ketosis during that time. And there where quite a few more errors that do not seem to hamper his body building looks, but its still not accurate though.
you know im same bro i been training almost a decade i switched keto and i be honest not always cause i used train 6x a week i realise the recovery its worse without carbs but when i rest 2 days for instance weekend and train monday and tuesday the training are beast mode, lifting good and pushing way more then when was on carbs. But i did lose slightly strength but i feel the workout more intense and contracting the muscle more.
For all the kiddies out there that don't know about Ancel Keys. Let's just say if you're watching this video & are into low-carb/keto lifestyle way of eating that you completely dodge a bullet in the generation you grew up in. Ex; diabetes, hypertension, obesity...
Fat makes you fat was never a consensus in science. It was the result of politics taking over science and influencing results, results that were generally accepted because most doctors are not scientists and don't know shit about actual science.
This Gordon Ramsay lookalike guy has got somethings wrong, like fatty chicken thighs. Fat in chicken is dangerous, unlike in beef/lamb, so lean breast is best.
Started a week ago... 16 hour fasting and keto.. high energy and major fat loss already.. feel better mentally and physically.. also gives you a happy mood boost..
Your gentle, knowledgeable, calm demeanor and genuine smile is what makes this video so powerful. I've struggled with body image for most of my life, and I think it's because I never heard someone speak about health with wisdom, humility, and such ease. Thank you for inspiring me to take better care of my body.
Bro I know this video is old but just hearing this guy talk makes me want to change. I will be intermiting fasting and doing cardio because I've been so low at life and want to get out there but i have no confidence i used to look really good but then life happened but thank you and i hope you stay humble and the way u are honestly just from this vid this guy is a down to earth guy
Luckily for me I'm not a " dessert guy " my issue is definitely carbs and fast food! I am a pretty strong willed man so I got this and I will drop 50lbs by the end of the year.
@@biggie2335 its going great! Ive actually dropped a significant amount of weight since Jan. Of this year, a accumulated total of 54lbs but I want to drop another 30lbs by the end of the year.
Damn that’s awesome! I’m doing keto with intermittent fasting and my only issue is consistency but i been 2 weeks strong now I’m trying to have my next cheat day be by thanksgiving time I think it’ll be the ultimate reward lol but I’m determined to see what changes my discipline will bring
@@biggie2335 Oh, i can definitely relate. This has been absolutely the most challenging thing Ive ever done for myself. Although, i will say that I learned invaluable things about myself that have contributed to my change and growth. If you're anything like myself then you lack self control when it comes to food so if thats the case I highly recommend a book that ive been listening to called " *Self Discipline : How to build Mental Toughness and focus to achieve your goals by John Winters.* " I believe If you sign up for Audible you get a free credit so basically you get the book for free. Anytime I need help or motivation I listen to the book, i even listen to it at work or the gym. Anyway, you can do it, once you start losing the weight and everyone starts complimenting you, you'll feel like a million bucks! Good luck and stay strong. 💪🏻
Nearly 1 year of Keto way of Life and achieve the best physique of my Life in less than 10 months whether I was lifting for 5 years but never been able To Follow a regular bodybuilder Diet. Now Dropped bodyweigt From 100 kg 35% BF To 77 kg and 13% BF and keep going.. and why not compete at a IFBB Contest Next year. Keto For Life!
Makes sense. If u think about it humans were migrants and when ur a migrate in a new land, the fruit nuts and anything else that might be edible is totally unknown to them so rather than risk getting sick, it’s much easier and safer to kill an animal and cook its meat which u know won’t poison you
This guy is spot on! Especially how and what early humans ate. Fruits and most carbs were seasonal and available a few months of the year. Meat, fish and fats was the main source of fuel all year round.
Great explanation of a life-changing way of eating I have personally had great results using these methods. Once you get the information with solid mindset you can achieve massive results.
Love to hear it Daniel - Dan has just released his keto coffee video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CP5AYY4USrE.html comment and let us know what you think. all the best team PROMiXX
Lol, the title is "Ketogenic Diet: Shred Fat & Build Muscle" and this guy openly explains that he built his muscle on a high carb/high protein diet and only maintains on Keto. Also, a bulletproof coffee breaks your fast 100%. Everything with calories does.
I haven't heard high carb anywhere on video my man. It's all low carb/high fat stuff. Except his cheat days, when having some pizza. And plain coffee or tea break a fast, but I think he drinks it before training, so I guess he goes back pretty quickly to burning calories...
Also heard it. He is bulking with high carb, high protein and cutting with high fat, low carb and protein (keto). And agree with Strel0k, bulletproof coffee breaks yr fast.
I don't ever comment but you've taught me a lot in 30 mins or so after watching several of your videos. As I sit feeling sick after a taco bell, I'm going to look back at this point, and with your info and going on the keto diet I will know how far I've came. Thanks so much for all the knowledge. Liked and subscribed.
I can testify to all that you’ve said Followed your exact guidelines to heal myself from prostate cancer and get blood, kidney, liver parameters that are off the charts healthy!
Omad/keto dropped 60# from my frame. Its now a lifestyle not a 'diet'. Incredible tool. The only down side is muscling through the initial keto adaption period then getting used to one-meal-a-day. Be strong, the rewards are awesome.
Some of his explanations are common misconceptions/ bro science. The methods work - yet - a few of the reasons given why they work are myths. Tons of human studies that break down the "why". Also - BCAA's (waste of money) would need to replaced with EAA's - especially right before exercise in the morning - preferably with whey concentrate/hmb and water. Overall - a good video.
Brilliantly explained, how impressive was that? I've been on Keto for a month and have lost 14lbs easily. If you have been messing around with every diet going then you must try this.
An excellent video I have great results with this keto diet losing in a short time more than 37 pounds, although I have my own keto method, thank you very much for this video🍉🍊🍏🍎🍍
As a trainer over 40 years, really not at all understanding how you can build and sustain muscle mass on such a diet that is so scant of calories? Sounds like his diet is less than 2000 calories/day aside from eating at night when any food consumed spikes your insulin as it naturally drops to its lowest daily levels! At my age of 65 and at 6'1" and 205, I need a baseline minimum of 2300 calories/day just existing with no activity and up to 3700 c/d with moderate activity - which I have a hard time doing as that's flat out alot of food! Do agree though that on the days that you work out, you repair/build the most muscle at night which is why one should do a protien whey hit with water (not juice) before one retires. At 228, I tried keto for 1.5 months eating 3 meals/day and lost 20 pounds. I broke it because I frankly didn't want to lose any more weight -or muscle mass. So again, don't see how this works when these buffed out guys like this chap or DeLauer who have bodies that are clearly the result of supplemental roid/HGH use are hawking this keto diet as if you can achieve similar results. And this is not only my opinion! Personally, these channels can make the creators alot of money so fronting the content with these buffed out, 19"-armed dudes is really what sells!
Good Luck :) Im on Keto 5th week now, doing a lot of excersise tho so I dont know how much weight I put on due to muscle but in Total I lost 5kg over the 5 weeks already and feel more muscular.
Can you please explaining the following How does the body burn fat while increasing fats? Fasten cardio ? Show me a study that says it's better End of the day. It's net calorie balance If keto is jet fuel, how come 99.9 of athletes eat carbs ? Seems other wise. Are you on TRT ? Thank you
I class myself as more of a weight lifter. My main focus is to left as heavy as I can. I'm also on keto to lose weight. But I've noticed my strength has dropped considerably, especially in bench press. Is this due to cutting out my carbs?
The more fat you burn, the more muscle you lose. It’s very difficult to do those two simultaneously. I feel like too many youtubers focus on burning fat. Well what about us skinny guys who are really trying to build muscle? If I am hungry, and I can choose to eat a pizza vs. nothing, shouldn’t I eat the pizza because I’m skinny? And if I lose fat I will lose muscle as well. How do you burn fat and build muscle at the same time???
I've noticed but one flaw in it, tell me if I'm wrong... He mentioned being on intermitent fasting, yet he takes a bulletproof coffee in the morning before workout. just for info, the bulletproof coffee is about 360 kcal.... taking you right out of your fasting state.
I've been on ketto+ omad diet for 4 months im lost almost 20+ kg 105 to 85 now im workout in gym iwant make good shape body any suggestions? Still on a omad diet
@@krane15 why do you say that bro if u are getting the enough protein and electrolyes that is just TOTALLY fine, Im feeling gratefull on this tons of energy some dayz I eat lil good carbs such a sweet potatoe but then I do IF and train fasted well I think if you get enough spinachs and avocados and electrolytes you K, MG and NA is going to be ok,
@@valvijosevalverde3433 Because Keto is a crash diet, not a long-term way of eating. There are valuable nutrients in carbs (fiber for one) not available solely through fats or protein. Carbs are also necessary for instant explosive energy . Try doing HITT without carbs and see what happens. Carbs are your body's 93 (high octane) fuel vs 87 (low octane) for fats.
Fat requires more work to burn compared to carbohydrates, I don't agree with this guy, right amount of carbs is enough to fuel you inside the gym, you are not basically staying in gym working out 24 hrs. a day aren't you? Fat stays longer but to me 3-4 hrs. inside the gym fat is a big no no.
I have watched so many Keto videos but this is the best breakdown I have ever seen! He is so knowledgeable and gives a well rounded view that really helps 😀 - Starting Keto again tomorrow the right way!
When you take in the MCT oil with your Bulletproof Coffee in the morning, you're literally breaking your fast, and you have ended that period of intermittent fasting
Michael Harmon thats right. But remember that while eating just puré fat you are not having a big insulin response, and you will still be getting ALMOST al the benéfits of fasting.
Mct oil give energy, which make easier to make exercise. Even if you break your fast, the gains from in energy is significantly higher to do more workouts and enter to fasted state again
@@k4piii Too bad it doesn't work like that. Fat stores are slow release and slow utilization energy sources. That's why you can burn off your carb stores in a matter of hours. Your fat stores can last for months.
I'm not knocking his diet, clearly it works for him, and may make a lot of sense. However I just want to say this whole early man argument is one of the most used and least logical arguments. Just because nature made us a certain way does not mean that is the optimal way. Early man didn't lift weights, they were long distance stalkers and were likely thin and built for endurance walking. Yet here we are in gyms and that's a good thing. Early man didn't use cellphones or youtube either... There are better arguments for what to eat and what not to eat.
According to research Early Man was not in a state of long term ketosis. Fat is very rare in wild game, its mainly protein. Also early man had a life expectancy of 30 years.
SO true......fat is a good fuel, sugar is a bad fuel, however you need to be very disciplined because if you go back to eating sugar or carbs when on this diet, your body will use the sugar as fuel and you end up with a whole load of fat which eds up being stored, so could make you worse IF not disciplined enough

1952: KFC opens 1954: Burger King opens 1955: McDonald's opens 1970s: obesity epidemic Remember, just like smoking doesn't cause lung cancer overnight, eating fast foods doesn't cause obesity overnight 🤔🤯
I'm having dark chocolate, nuts, avocado, ghee, beef and lil bit of berries worth of totally ~3500 calories every other day. Like this guy said, u won't die fasting.
