Great stuff, Taco! Glad to hear you mention fun as one of the goals. That’s a really important factor in fitness that’s overlooked. If something is fun and you enjoy doing it, you’re more likely to exercise. That’s why I do predominately sport style now…it’s a lot of fun to do. I still do hard style swings once or twice a week, but as a warm up and strength work rather than my main sets.

Thanks. Yes, I agree, fun is often overlooked but it's one of the most important things in training.

I am a hard style swinger. I am also a heavy kettlebell guy which Pavel seems to disagree with. My goal is simple, the hip snap is the top of the barbell squat, barbell deadlift, barbell power clean and barbell power snatch hence my goals are to strengthen that area and the hard swing accomplishes that goal.
