@@nathanhart19191 NO, honey. If Beyonce were a scrupulous business woman, she would pay for the samples that she's used. For one, anyone, including Beyonce, to say, "It's a blessing to be on a Beyonce album", UNPAID, is sheepish and WRONG, despite the benefits of having been used. According to this interview, the sampl was used without permission, and that within itself is a presumptive transgression. Happily he's thankful and reaping the benefits, but to take someone's intellectual property for your own benefit, DESPITE ANYTHING ELSE, EVEN THE OVERALL BENEFIT is wrong and superior behaviour. Y'all have to STOP thinking Beyonce can do whatever she wants and that "it's a blessing to be on a Beyonce album. I'm a Bey fan, but am with Kelis in that it's the respect, the principle in FIRST asking.

@@MRSOFFICER2012 A songwriter recently talked about how Beyonce underpays and steals from songwriters and that it might be the reason why people are voting against her for Album of the year on the Grammys. Of course I don't know how much of it is true, but it does make me suspicous. Curious to know what sources you have on wether or not Beyonce pays or makes sure people get paid?
Beyonce has no say in how much is paid. It is a scale set by the recording industry. People just spout gibberish and have no idea of how sampling works and too lazy to research.

Beyonce should contact these artists, regardless if they own the masters to the single. If that's truly your art , you would respect the original artist
I love Bee but people thinks that she always automatically pays people for their stuff but to be honest she really doesn't. I'm from New Orleans and the person that's on the beginning of formation is from New Orleans as well his name is Messy Mya he was killed and when he died he had a son on the way the girl was still pregnant. The girl who's name is Minniecat try to sue Bee IDK what happened after that but his estate wasn't paid or notified before hand or anything she knew about the song when we knew about the song. Lol
