I didn’t want the interview to end. He is so down to earth and has great stories. Jimmy did a wonderful job asking the right questions and letting Kevin speak without being interrupted.
Kevin Bacon is an actor that when he’s on a talk show you know it’s going to be interesting and real . He never fails to just be delightful and have good stories to tell. Definitely a legend with diverse talent. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💖☺️
What an amazing man. He never disappoints. Enjoy his acting, his dancing, his singing, his values and definitely admire the love he and Kyra share for each other and their family. Just an all around great human being. Love him!!

Kevin Bacon has always been on the top of my list. He's a great actor, a great person who is so down to earth and you never hear anything negative about him. He and Kyra love each other so much and they have a great family life. When he starred in the series "The Following" I watched every episode and when it was canceled, I bought all 3 seasons on Prime so I can watch it whenever I want. He really is an amazing person and a great actor!
OMG. I also introduced my daughter to space oddity. I not only played Space oddity for my daughter but we acted it out, like floating in space and such. She became a fan and when she found out at age 7 that David Bowie was married she cried. I asked her why and she said it means she can’t marry him. Precious moments!!!
I Love Kevin Bacon! 🥰 I'm so happy he's doing movies again! ❤️ Edit: I haven't been keeping up on the movies Kevin's been doing, as was pointed out to me. So take my original comment with a grain of salt. Lol 😉
@Kiwi Jello I'm so So sorry. I think I've not been keeping up on Kevin Bacon movies, so I'm going to change my comment. He's probably made A LOT of movies over the years. It was really early in the morning & I wasn't thinking about what I was saying. Thank you for asking!! 🥰
Kevin B seems so real and present, like he is a low-baggage adult human being; someone we might say is very well adjusted to adulthood and life. In that sense, he's a prince of a human being. It was great to see him here!
Hearing that story about Bowie made me come over all emotional. Wasn't he great? Still feel sad about him not being here anymore. Thanks KB for this interview. ♥
Wouldn't be surprised if he greenlighted the song license because he really wanted to hear a 10 year old girl sing one of his songs a cappella. He had that kind of artist's heart.
I loved watching Jimmy Kimmel give that beautiful cat a massage! It's clear that he really cares about animals and knows how to make them feel relaxed and comfortable. The cat looked like it was enjoying the massage so much, it almost put me to sleep! Thanks for sharing this heartwarming moment with us
Kevin bacon you and your wife share a special bon 35 years together is awesome not just because your celebrities it's about compassion and understanding your inspiring fan of both of you from belleville canada
Kevin and Kyra lost a huge part of their fortune in the Bernie Madoff ponzi scheme but they never whined about it to the press or asked for anyone's sympathy. They simply worked hard over the years together in TV and film projects to rebuild it. I will always respect them for that.
Kevin Bacon Show 1. Ren McCormack, Pringle - Robot Chicken 2011 Movies 2. Sebastian Shaw - X-Men First Class 2011 3. Jack Morris - My Dog Skip 2000 4. Balto - Balto 1995 5. Valentine McKee - Tremors 1990
Kevin was once asked the secret to his marriage and he said, "Keep the fights clean and the sex dirty." I think it may have been a quick red carpet question, not sure.
My first car that I drove in high school was originally my grandfather’s car. It was a 1965 Mercury Park Lane. It had a 390 marauder engine in it and it really motored. I think the speedometer went up to 110 miles an hour. It had those small, triangular windows that you could rotate with a crank on either side in the front. Not sure they are the same as what Kevin was talking about, but if so, to answer, Kevin’s question, they actually worked quite well blowing air on you when you were driving fast. Felt like air-conditioning blowing cool air right at you. Without having to roll down the entire window. I am a big fan of Kevin Bacon. I was a little surprised that he didn’t think those triangular windows were a good idea. I guess he never actually tried using them while driving 45 to 65 mph.
The first time I heard about Kevin was actually in this funny joke: "20 years ago, we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope, and Steve Jobs. Now we have no Cash, no Hope, and no Jobs. PLEASE - DO NOT let Kevin Bacon die"
Kevin Bacon is my childhood nightmare. He's Hollow Man, the character I regret seeing as a 5 year old kid because of my painfully extreme fear of human anatomy. However, from what I heard, he's a humble man in reality so that's good.
Love Kevin always so genuine and real & great stories..love he met Bowie another great & favourite legend of mine ❤️ Jimmy some great interviews particularly recently thankyou!
It was called a "wing window" and it wasn't rolled up or down. Just pushed open or closed and had a little latch. I'm only 54 and this makes me feel old. The main door window would be a rectangular shape and not a fancy curve, hence the bonus window. My source: 1966 Mustang in high school!
Chet Brown still is, and is still a great singer, and still active. Steve is Steve Netsky and you can find songs written by him and his brother Ronald here on RU-vid. Kevin played the Bongos. His brother Michael was the singer-songwriter of the two.
If you haven’t seen the RU-vid video of Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield singing Space Oddity, go watch it now. It’s incredible because it’s actually filmed on the space station!!!
Yep. Love Kevin Bacon. Not a pretentious Hollywood snob. His family seams very loving and down to earth. Doesn't hurt he's a fellow Philly native. Always fun to hear from him.
My husband and I have been married as long as Kevin and Kyra. Each year is a celebration! lol well, apparently Kyra and I are the same age and our oldest is the same age as theirs. Difference my husband is younger lol. He's talking about the vent window, or the "cigarette window". You needed the window because you never trusted the exhaust system and always wanted to vent the inside of the car. Hence "vent" window. At least that's what my dad told me.
If I ever meet Kevin Bacon in real life, I'll say "Kevin Bacon... It's really you... You are my childhood nightmare,... Hollow Man. That was the first of your movies I watched and I was only 5 years old. I coincidentally saw my dad watching it on TV and I never knew how much I'd regret seeing it. It was the most horrid thing I saw as a kid and I had a painfully extreme fear of human anatomy." I wonder how he'd react to that.
I watched Tremors because I loved Kevin Bacon. And thru Tremors was my first introduction to the phenomenon known as Neil Patrick Harris! I knew he played Doogie Howser but I had never watched that show. Love love love Neil Patrick Harris!
