Yeah, but he overrated Murray being the best point guard in the league because firstly he forgets that Murray is able to play that way due to Jokic being the huge main focus of opponent's defense giving Murray space to maneuver on offense. Murray would not dominate so much if there was no Jokic and he was the main focus of defense like Lillard, Luka or Curry. Secondly Murray is highly inconsistent, during regular season he is not even an All-Star quality player let alone the best point guard in the league and even in playoffs he is inconsistent, he has one or two good games and then a bad or bellow average game and so on. Thirdly, Murray was a shooting guard, this is the first time we saw him pasing the ball so much which means he improved that aspect of his game so maybe in future season he starts becoming an All-Star and establishes himself as top point guard

Jokic didn't go out in the 1st round as you wrote for 2 seasons without Murray, but that's something Nick Wrong says always so I know where you got that misinformation and it tells me where you get you info about Nuggets in general, which is one of the worst places. Three seasons ago Jokic won 1st round against Blazers with a fully decimated roster against a historically good Lillard. Decimated roster means he was playing with just one starter Porter Jr who was about 20 years old and had back pain and he was playing without only 2 good bench players. Basically Jokic won a round against the Blazers with one young starter in pain and a pair of 3rd string guards which were 10-day contract Austin Rivers and 5'7 Campazzo. Murray was injured, Gary Harris was injured, Barton was injured, Dozier was injured, Monte Morris was injured and few more bench players were injured, basically most of the roster was injured... No player in the world would win a playoff series with that roster, let alone against Lillard who was scoring 40-50 pts and had McCollum, Nurkic and others, but Jokic did it. Of course he could do noting in the next round against loaded Suns where he had Rivers and Campazzo playing against Booker and Paul and NBA finalists Suns as Jokic already overachieved with fully injured roster. So it's a big misinformation he didn't win because of Murray, whole Nuggets roster was decimated. Next playoffs season he played with a decimated roster as well because Murray was injured, Porter Jr was injured and few other players were injured too so again he had a decimated roster and not just Murray missing while paying against NBA finalists and champions that season. Did you really expect Nuggets to win with 14ppg Gordon and 10 ppg Monte Morris being 2nd and 3rd best players against GSW??? Chris Bosh has been an All Star 11 times while Scottie Pippen was 7 times elected All Star. By your logic Chris Bosh was a better player than Pippen But we know that’s not the case. I would not take Murray as the best PG but I definitely take him over Ja, Kyrie and even Lillard.

Excellent points. What should be scary for the rest of the league, is that guys like MPJ barely contributed all Finals long. What if he gets better? What if guys like CB or PWat start getting better? Ikr, Murray's numbers go way up in the playoffs plus he got way more playoff experience so that he means he plays better on the bigger stages. KG is tripping. All these regular season awards got people gassing players up. Playoff experience + performance is the most important quality in a player imo.

I’m thinking this the entire time. What front office isn’t looking for the multidimensional player like Joker who can do everything. Score on all three levels, passing off the charts, etc etc. You can’t teach his instincts & IQ. People forget those two have been together for a while now. Murray’s injury held things up.

He is, and he was the best player last year too... The only reason he didn't win a ring last year was because he had Campazzo and them clowns in the lineup... Getting rid of them and adding a healthy Murray, KCP and Bruce Brown makes a colossal difference. Jokic is pretty easily the best player... The previous guard of players is getting too old... Guys like LeBron, Steph, KD, Harden... They're still good, but can't carry a team from start to finish like Joker can... Then you have Giannis and Embiid who got embarassed in this Playoffs in a way even Jokic didn't get last year with a much worse team.
