Final Battle 09: Kevin Steen turned on Generico Final Battle 10: Kevin Steen was kicked out of ROH Final Battle 11: Kevin Steen was reinstated in ROH Final Battle 12: Kevin Steen defeated El Generico to retain the ROH world title A three year impressive storyplan
Which is true because a lot of marks cry and complain about how Vince had always buried him to talents like John Cena, Roman Reigns, etc even though in reality that's not what had happened but regardless he and Sami had great chemistry to where you would know that storyline was going to go get over and it did on TV at the time because of it, anyways.
And to having great matches with Tyler Black, Bryan Danielson, and even of course Steve Corino is something that he would have great storylines for since he had a lot of great chemistry with them as well during that time, anyways.
Meh, Corino had so much experience across the 90’s indies and such that he knew it was just business. I think Steve is tremendously underrated. His feud with Jerry Lynn in ECW was one of the brightest spots for the dying company.
Jayden Hefford do I honestly yea BC I don't hear alot of people say they related to Steen/Owens and on top on that I'm lil excited BC I'm a wrestler to I wrestle for wbye wrestling
@@Smallestpenis What promotions has Cornette made worse? TNA got worse after he left, ROH was good while he was there, he helped train a bunch of guys who went on to be superstars when Cornette was with OVW...
@@Smallestpenis I don't understand how he makes things worse? Lol OVW was the place to be as far as developmental territories go when he was there. TNA got shitty after Dixie Carter took over and had more of a role in booking, ROH was great when Jim was there, and if it wasn't for Jim, they wouldn't have gotten the deal with Sinclair broadcasting. So explain exactly how any promotion Jim has worked in became worse when he was there
+Jai Marshall (J.A.M) I would say it's possibly the purest example of poetry from wrestling. It told an end to the story. Be honest, if he HADN'T had this match, you'd have been ripping your hair out wondering, "What if?".....What if they'd fought? How would it have ended? What if we never found out a conclusion to the friendship/feud/adoration that emerged between them during the years they wrestled together? That would have damn near killed me........but then again, I put WAAAYYY too much stock in wrestling. It's part of my weekly "venting", if you will, and helps me get some frustration out visually
Yep because that's the same talent, which also happens to be his real life in real life because he would hold the ROH Tag titles and also the ROH World title before he would sign with WWE in 2014 is mostly how great of a run that he had for the territory at the time because of it, anyways.
@@martyscurllisinnocent4324 lol... I would say that up until recently, I'd honestly have placed Dynamite above RAW in terms of which was more enjoyable and better structured, that 3 hour ass show raw was awful but they've been doing better with it, idk though i may still put dynamite above it just because 3 hours is just bad. Smackdown on the other hand has been better than dynamite in the main event area, but not as good in the lower/mid card spots.
For me and a lot of other wrestling fans ring of honor espiecially in 2011 was our saving grace you had a stacked roster not to mention a good buisness mind running the joint you had money matches no offense to Corino but steen carried your ass to a great match and I remember watching this segment and thinking to myself steen is going to be a future champion in whatever fed he's in and I swear if the quote on quote "old guard (Vincent k and Kevin Bucky beaver teeth Dunn) get off the writing staff we will see steen be the wwe world heavyweight champion he's one of the best and shows it night after night thank you Kevin steen
@@Josh92SA no he's the definition of a worker mark who was always a glorified jobber but thought he was better than what he actually was. If he was so good why didn't he make it?
I might be wrong or not but I’m calling it now February 9th 2022 Kevin Steen debuts in AEW either in the Owen Hart tournament or he saves Adam Cole and The Young Bucks from a beatdown.
That tattoo line was epic. I can't see any other reason for Jacobs to be ref if he isn't turning heel. Although after the first Swerve with Steen at Best in The World, I get the feeling ROH has something else planned. Can't wait for this match.
Thank god Kevin lost weight. He really ballooned up in 2010. He still could stand to lose quite a few pounds, but he looks a LOT healthier. Hopefully this will lead to bigger companies taking notice of him. Can anybody else see him winning the Intercontinental title?
Can someone tell me what channel they show ROH now. I haven't been able to watch this show since late 2010 or maybe early last year (2011) ever since they took it off HDNet.
***** so you're one of those guys who does nothing but hates on wwe but yet watches raw every monday and bitch about how your favorite wrestler is getting "buried" by losing a ppv match. lmao get a life
***** hmm are even watching? he took Nevil Zayn (twice) Cena Crowe out by powerbombing them on the Apron. his second match he won the NXT title. by REF Stoppage and NXT Rival Then took him out again at NXT Unstoppable. He came we raw and beat cena CLEAN at chamber then took him out 2 nights ago at MITB. now is going for the US title at BattleGround also Took out MGK. so how is he look like an idiot? because he lost 1 match? so you're telling me "if you lose 1 match you're buried" get out of here smark. KEVIN OWENS is killing it in wwe. if you don't like wwe don't watch it
