TOP MAN you just saved me quite some money was just about to pay some guy to come and have a look at my key after having the car 6 years and it happen it both my keys, feed up of embarrassing unloving it with key and alarm going off every time.. 😂😂
Thanks for this video even though I already fixed it with changing battery, just wondering if you might know why my lights ain't flashing to signify it's locked now.. It flashes after boot button and unlock is pressed, but not for 'locked'. Hoping it will sort itself out after an ignition start tomorrow morning 🤞 (cba rn) also wondering if its purely bcz it was pressed multiple times, have you heard of this before???
The only similar issue I have had is that if you press the button multiple times when its not in range of your vehicle, it can disassociate itself and the key doesn't work at all. There is a process for pairing them together again which is pretty straightforward but I've not had that issue which you are describing sorry no!
@@itstomsgarage thanks for replying.. Just to say it did kinda sort itself out after using the fob to unlock, Then locked door with key in lock, and immediately pressed unlock button. Now the problem seems to have morphed. It clicks and flashes on first locking but on subsequent presses only flashes, with no more clicks. I tend to lock twice as it would give clicking sound to make me feel confident it was locked up proper.. I shall investigate further (checking all doors and boot are secure) but ultimately I'll just hope and pray it sorts itself out once and for all lol 😂 I really don't think it's worth worrying about but I do tend to overthink and worry a lot
