This is so true. Another aspect:: my FA had planned to keep me as a friend. He had not planned for my walking away without a tear or drama. NC forever for me. He was stuck with his new love, without me. It didn't go as planned. I have healed and moved on with my life. It took one year of inner and outer work, but I did it. I watch your videos in order to be sure I recognize the red flags. Never again!!!

What a great analysis- I won't bore anyone with my experience but I will say that anyone who can do this (MB) literally has no soul. Are you out now with no children involved? No legal entanglements (marriage, mortgages loans) ? If so, you need to get on your knees and thank the Almighty with your whole heart. Confront, embrace and process the pain. Wear it like a badge of honor. No one will ever know but you how bad it hurts sometimes. And that's a good thing. Do not accept their calls, texts or overtures of any kind. Do not creep on their social media. Get on your knees again. Thank him for what you have. And for what you don't.

My ex went back and forth between me and another guy several times, since august. This guy doesn’t even know anything. She is now with him again for 3 months already, funny thing is, at the beginning of the month she unblocked me and started stalking my stories again, She does not even follow me. Several days ago even congratulated on my graduation. and she is still with that guy. So basically Paz explained what is happening there. She is again starting to do same things all over again, wishing for the different result, but relationship built on lies is doomed to fail.

Ha! This is me and my ex to a T. Crazy how formulaic it is, but, yeah, it’s awful to experience. That guy really had me thinking for a long time that I was this awful person and that I did something to deserve it somehow. It was simply a decision he made. It hurt a lot, but he had no remorse, he just didn’t care and it baffled me so much. I get it now, I dodged a bullet, but man, I really did care for the guy. . .

This is 100% correct. I recently took my ex back after two months. After she dated another guy. We re-connected and things were amazing. Two weeks later she walked through my door. Her face, the energy, everything was off. She started a fight that day out of nowhere from the past and was completely blind sided. Come to find out she went on a date with another guy the night before!l from a mutual friend. After the fight and asking her if she was talking to someone else she offered friendship and cut off emotional/physical contact between us. I declined her offer. Went no-contact and my mutual friend a week later that she continues to see the new guy.

you can extend a relationship with a monkeybrancher if you bounce at the first sign of disengagement/abnormal behavior/disrespect . this reals them back in before they can vet your replacement. this would only work if you have avoidant tendacies yourself. i dont think an anxious can pull it off.

It's strange then that there is so much anecdotal evidence of monkey branching turning into long term relationships amd marriage. The fact is the vast, vast majority of relationships fail and relationships borne out of monkey branching really do not have a significantly higher rate of failure than relationships in general.

She didn't cheat or monkey branch as far as I know so bro, no homo, but my heart feels for you man I can't imagine that pain. Speaking of the gym. I assume your strength is through the roof given the emotional drive behind it. Shit I almost cried in the gym a few times and that's when I grin and bear it and fucking push the limits to transform the negativity into productivity. Luckily this hasn't been my first rodeo, yet this time it's definitely hard, yet easier from experience on how to handle it. That first love though is always the worst, and hope this isn't your first love. My first I became depressed for years and didn't know how to cope

So maybe we just need to weed out the avoidants and anxious types early! Have a read of Attached if you haven't. Fascinating audiobook. Glad yours didn't monkey branch, that is my situation but like you, not my first rodeo either and luckily not the love of my life... That time I ate porridge once a day for a month and lost muscle. This was always a difficult relationship so even though it's horrible thinking about her and my "friend" I just tell myself I dodged a bullet and now know who my friends are. There are some f***ed up ppl around I tell you. Sorry it's this painful my brother, keep pumping that iron and become the best version of yourself physically and spiritually! I will too! ✌️

What if this ex is a covert narcissistic female? We lived together for 5 years and she left from one day to another, was very inexpected. She started secretly dating a guy for about a month, so met a few times only and she moved to his place straight from mine. Absolutely crazy! No closure no nothing. By the way we were engaged. @Coach Paz - Do you think this new relationship will last longer her being a covert narc? Do you think a covert narc will go through these phases as well? Can she feel guilt and remorse at all? She moved to a city 150km away, she knows nobody there and her work is in the city we lived together in. She barely knows this new person who by the way is about 20 years older than her, could be her father.

My wife did monkey branching with her coworker since first day of job. Announced seperation in just 1 week of talking to him , saying she needs space time bla bla and she is in depression and on medicine and not feeling sny intimacy and all so i dropped her stuff at her home after 3 months of seperation and she didnt even come for her stuff was just breadcrumbing me to get instalments because she took loan for my business . Whenever i was moving she was breadcrumbing and never admitted truth about cheating so finally after 5 and half months i found out about her relationship and she started abusing me and calling me toxic, and still didnt admit even my friend saw them together, and i sent her proofs of calling records. And she started demanding divorce i just blocked her and stepped back , should i pay back her loan? Note: my business wasnt going well thats why we decided to get her job. But i guess due to that she left . Thinking i am obliged to pay her loan while she can chill and enjoy with her new partner without stress of loan

Literally the same thing happened to me. Ex and I lived together for 2 years, she is now with my friend of 25 years who I believe just casually swooped in there and flirted with her when he could see things were rocky. She does actually seem confused and remorseful. Not brazen and bold about it, but still doing it because she can't handle the pain of being alone. Low value people like this don't deserve our presence

I could easily walk away from a ex gf, but not so easily from a spouse that l have loved and committed to for twenty years.

I feel your pain. NC from the moment she walked, just got out of a 13yr relationship. Its been hard but its what i got to do for my mental being/not just to try and get her back. I'm sorry to hear this man. What is the situation tho? Is your wife talking about reconciliation? Or is she still with the other guy? If the latter, i would aim to move on, and IF she comes back you need to set the rules and boundaries and not just let her straight back into the bed. Counselling (for her personally, then maybe marriage counselling) is probably a must if it's going to ever become a healthy relationship again. I'm not saying this is your fault at all, but there may have been things that you should have paid more attention to early on to keep this marriage going successfully. Be strong.

It may or may not last but one thing is sure that whenever they will have a hard time in the new relationship they will think about u and how good u were. Whereas once u move on you will not think of them ever bcoz you know deep down she has wronged you. But as coach paz said I haven't seen a monkey branched relationship ever happy. They were technically long lasting and called successful but they were miserable with each other their whole lives.

@@neodistinct that’s a great question brother and I think you already know the answer if she doesn’t post him she’s keeping her options open and the fact that this is a long distance relationship just means that it’s an unhealthy relationship that will not last for long even if they are 14 months together, doesn’t mean that this is a healthy relationship or successful one. I would highly encourage you to stop tracking how long they’ve been together or if she posts him or not focus on yourself and heal ! I’m here for you, my friend if you need help

Coach Paz, what can you say about a common friend of mine and my ex started massaging me for asking about me and my ex. These friends chatted me suddenly asking how they can help me and my ex bring back together.i hope you can make a video about it too since i don't understand what is happening. My ex is still with his gf(my replacement) but these friends is asking me how can they help me. My ex seems happy and contented and actually blocked me, but there's our friends trying to get info from me out of no where. Im not communicating these friends for a while. I just don't understand. I hope you can make an honest content about it.
