With every new Q series board you manage to improve the sound profile. I’m thoroughly impressed especially on an 1800 layout board where there’s more space
@@KeychronKeyboard I see, what I meant is a lot of custom board have brass or stainless steel weight attach to the bottom of the keyboard for added weight. From what I see so far the current version don't have one. Still the Q5 have a very solid layout that I like.
Let's be honest, all the keys with stabilizers sounded terrible (especially the spacebar), at least in the case of the first keyboard. Any chance that can be improved?
1:15 i dont know but it seems the "ping" is still there it can be solved easily but I still hope you guys can find a way to solve it officially I love the Q1 very much and using it in office every day now and Im going to buy a Q5 at home keep going keychron
Reactive RGB is possible as the board supports QMK. However it may not be available out of the box because of VIA. It's not difficult to add / enable QMK pre-programmed effects. I've done it on my Q1 by adding some simple edits to their fork of QMK on GitHub. Ask for help on their discord.
I wish blues wouldn’t sound so extremely bright and metallic, I would love to have something in between blue and brown switches. Otherwise, this keyboard sounds great, would be an immense improvement over my K4.
