Installation of Higgspeed chambers on my KH500/H1. Stock unbaffled pipes sound at beginning of video. Higgspeed sound at end, first start up, and after adjusting carbs out. Still need to rubber mount the rear attachment points.
I love the sound of Higgspeeds, they don't have that High-Frequency zing or raspiness like other chambers. Best sounding chambers ever made. I just need to find a Kawa triple!
Sorry to say. Mate why didn’t you get the pipes of your buddy then Higgspeed pipes are all welded free hand no butting up against a bigger bore of pipe I have them on my s3 400
@@stevehopkinson4871 I think we have a communication issue here lol. These are the Higgspeeds that my buddy had originally purchased for the 500. Pipes sound sweet.
@@charliestoybox2099 sorry mate you said the weld isn’t as good as your buddies its very hard to get very good weld if the tubes are the same diameter but welding that’s a different matter and yes the Higgspeed’s are a lovely sound you have a very nice looking Kawasaki there
@@stevehopkinson4871 the rare times when my buddy has time to build custom exhausts, his welds are a pure work of art. Some millionaire collector takes up all his free time fabricating parts for his collection.
Ain’t no way in hell Iam loosing my Center stand for a few unnecessary HP/Sound Decibels. My 1969 -H1-500 is absolutely perfect the way it is, bike has ridiculous power!!!
@@michaeljkasnter well my stock pipes aren’t anywhere near perfect and the chambers are actually quieter. The stockers are missing the baffles. It only takes a minute to install the center stand to work on the bike, so not an issue for me.
