@@philippebaillargeon5204 I like him, he is very humble and you almost have to respect him and he's so easy to like unless... He is hated in America for some reason more than anywhere else it seems. It's like he was bound to clash with Diaz brothers who are a very American brand (tho Nate is less Systemic/American and is constantly clashing with Pretenders who are mostly American and struggles to fit into American Culture of Pretending.
@ExoXerxesTheStarSeed It's funny though Nick told a story about jogging through his own city or somewhere nearby in his own state and a lady stopped in her car opens the window and yells out at him "I hope GSP beats your ass!" LMAO, poor guy got too much hate from his own people so at that time it seemed like even the Americans liked GSP better, maybe they feel Nick doesn't represent US as well, he didn't deserve that though...
Fedor was unbelievable!! To be in the Heavyweight division where basically everyone there has KO power, and dominate the division for as long as he did is like WTF crazy! Truly a GOAT in my opinion! He really was the Last Emperor🤴
I always knew Fedor was his favorite fighter growing up because his father loved him. When he talked about retirement, he would always say he didn't want to end up like Fedor, like it hurt him inside every time he saw Fedor lose.
Khabib is my favourite fighter ,I'm an Irish man and really love how he is a good role model to kids and is a genuinely good decent honest person,, his record speaks for itself ❤
in a recent interview GSP said he really wanted to fight Habib but he retired. Imagine your favorite fighter, growing up, telling the world i wish could fight him.
GSP didn't want to cut weight anymore and wanted the fight to be at middleweight or catchweight. Khabib wanted him at 155. After Khabib retired he already decided never to return. UFC tried to make the fight after Khabib's retirement, GSP agreed but still wanted it at catchweight. This fight was never happening.
@@shafqatishan437 the timing never really worked out and yea weight was an issue. My thing is Khabib said he’d only do it at 155 which is unreasonable of a request for GSP imo. GSP never had issue from what I’ve seen him say with it at 170 which made all the sense in the world.
@@Loganbub Khabib wasn't returning anyway. He wanted GSP at 155 when he was active. I agree that 170 was more reasonable if it had to happen then, in fact 185 would be the right weight if the fight happens now (which is unlikely anyway).
Fedor's fights were the best. were never boring. guy fought out of his mind, wildly. I always imagined him as someone who does not fear defeat and fights like he is protecting a loved one.
I used to think Khabib was all talk, but then I watched his fights over and over and wow, the dude is amazing and what makes him a great champion?.. his humility! humble and just an all round nice guy.... and a bad ass in the ring!
@@permafrosty Lol, GSP wasn't even close to a heavyweight fighter. At least GSP and Khabib were similar weight classes. Problem with the fight though is that GSP was past his prime when Khabib fought. GSP wouldn't win and he knew it.
@@paulgs3273one sided? How was it one sided when Conor landed more punches? If I fight someone and I win but they land more punches that’s not one sided.
@@theoddgamer8266 so why don't we talk about significant strikes? Seriously, do you really think CM actually brought any real danger to Khabib? And no, I'm not talking about throwing a trolley into a bus when the other guy is dehydrated for cutting weight.
Fedor was a murderer just cold strikes and he came out on you like a Monster and what makes it more Wicked is he looked like a Typical Dads with Dad body and he took out these huge guys all built… So legendary. Fedor vs Cro crop in pride is still one of my best fights ever! Those two were like Assassins no talk just punches and kicks!
Man seeing GSP suprising Khabib at the Arnold Sports Festival in 2021 was so wholesome. Two fighters I'll always respect not only for their achievments but their character as well.
The calm and humility this man brings with his presence is the reason why he is my favourite fighter. Surely one of the best fighters ever in history, if not the best.
Take away that “if not the best” because I can name many off the bat who are far better. Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, GSP, Jose Aldo, Daniel Cormier, Miocic, Demetrius Johnson, Volkanovski even Usman. The criteria for the goat status is 1. Title defences 2. Who you beat 3. What you achieved. In none of those 3 categories does Khabib even come close to those guys. He may be the best lightweight we’ve seen in the UFC but in terms of best ever nowhere even close
Mate, I totally get that. Insomuch it's similar to when you have a girlfriend whose mother tongue isn't English. They say the most goddamn cutest things by getting words round the wrong way, phonetically mispronouncing words, etc. Know what I mean.? 😀
@@gallente4TWbut you always know what they mean. Just goes to show how complicated a language English can be. Respect to all of those who learned/are still learning it! Motivates me to expand my own horizons.
I remember watching like 20 years ago the fight between Fedor and Minotauro. It wasn't live though. And I was coming from partying, high as a kite and sat there and watched those two pound their heads like animals and I had a massive freak out. Never seen so much brutality between 2 human beings.
@@haidaralhumaidialshumari868 yes is something wrong with that???? And khabib is easily top 3 of all time in goat debate and everyone who used steroids is automatically disqualified from the conversation like gsp3 and Jones
I'm not sure. Right now his country is killing Khabib's Ukrainian friends who supported him in the beggining of his career but Khabib behave himself like this war doesn't exist. The person who believes in God would not close eyes when his former friends are being bombed and killed.
Imagine that your Idol recognize your greatness on the level when they consider you as his dream opponent Khabib has a wholesome life, staged by God it self
👌🏻can defo relate to that. Specially prince naseem hamed . What a entertainer . He’s gone massive now though . Came to my shisha bar a few times lovely guy
