Daniel Shaffer Yeah, and they are being investigated on past dealings. Bayern Munich make a similar amount of revenue, or slightly more, but they don’t make those mega signing, so the 200-250 mil revenue can’t be expected to be fully invested in transfer budget

As a Manchester person, born and bred, and a lifelong Manchester City supporter I could not be prouder of the team and the club. If we ever win the Champions League and I now believe we will I do not believe we will ever better this season. It has been pressure with every match from the start and the whole team and club handled it brilliantly. So, I would like to Thank everyone involved for another successful season but a spectacular one this year! United fan here, it pains me to praise our rivals, but City's success is down to sheer amazing planning and hard work over the last 10 years. Many laughed at their ambitions at the beginning but they have steadily grown into a world powerhouse. Many organisations can learn from them. Goes to show, football isn't just about a manager and squad of players. Great chairman as well, can listen to him all day. Seems like a great boss.

@abc7709 you are mistaken, clubs like United/Liverpool/Madrid/Barca are funded by 'winning' competition and sponsorship deals. City, PSG Chelsea owners have poured billions into their clubs, hence the reason why UEFA have introduced the Fair Play. For example, City owners have spent around £2 billion on the club. That's insane.

@@adeadegoke4925 fact is your about a billion over there, we've spent 1 billion in 10 years which equates to around 100m a season and in this day an age that's an average of 2 players added a season. Plus the revenue and sponsorship from previous 4 seasons we have been using that money from that. Like this season we earned 170m just from premier league so I'm pretty sure it's not coming from his pocket anymore

Being a Liverpool fan, I’m disappointed we didn’t win the league but I think Man City deserve every success they achieve. They have a clear strategy which they implemented right from the start and it’s working. Chelsea fan here, City is doing it right, they will dominate CL soon, it’s just a matter of time, winning EPL against a very hard working Liverpool team which imo could’ve won the prem a while a ago since 2015 tells a lot. City is a well managed club and they will win more trophies with or without Pep.

Khaldoon Al Mubarak wears his heart on his sleeve, what he has done to our club and the city of Manchester is incredible and will never be forgotten. Football whether we like it or not is a business. By the way City have made nearly £100m in player sales over the last few seasons. CTID
