@@palmtrees2420 statistically yes, in his second year though he went 13-3, made the playoffs, the probowl, and was by everyone's account one of the best QBs in the league...he only kept getting better and never looked back. He was advertised as someone who would be the best QB in the game someday, and he was. He actually ended up being more than they even thought he would be, becoming THE all pro at QB for like the next 10 years,and a hall of famer. He wasn't thought of as just a "franchise QB" coming out of college but a guy who would be a star (perennial probowler) he turned out to be an all pro hall of famer who changed the ge though.

They ended up with Maxx Crosby and Hunter Renfrow because of picks dealt involved with the Mack trade. Maxx is the best at that position today, so tell me how that was worst trade in Raiders history?

@@AaMo59 I’m a Raiders fan and I’m rooting for the Saints this season. The Raiders disappointed me last season how they treated a franchise QB. Now he has a defense in the Saints. Carr had a top 10 Offense with Nelson Agholor as his #1 receiver.

Olave had a solid rookie season & Perry could end up being a steal in the 6th rd. Outside of the Raiders game Mack had 5 sacks in 16 games. Bosa & Mack could end up being the great edge rush duo that never was!

@paulnassif yes the Raiders did offer Mack about 80 million contract. His agent, which nobody ever mentions in these things, got the deal in Chi-town. Agents! They are lawyers. Only money matters to them. Mack would have loved to remain a Raider, but was convinced the money was better with the clumsy Bears.
