Khan el-Khalili is a famous bazaar and souq (or souk) in the historic center of Cairo, Egypt. Established as a center of trade in the Mamluk era and named for one of its several historic caravanserais, the bazaar district has since become one of Cairo's main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike. Says Wikipedia.
When we travel, we felt more connection then just only descriptions of this bazaar.
It is a unique part of an Egyptian culture that shows up on each handcraft, art work. Buildings still tells tales and details of buildings mesmerizing. It is no miss touristic spot in Cairo if you want to see part of a culture and see that Cairo never sleeps. Streets were so crowded even it was late night.
