if you rub your two brain cells, you would conclude they have no idea that they are dealing with the sith. He never saw the master, he doesnt know anything about the master, and the jedi havent encountered a sith and survive to tell the tale since the wars with the sith empire. This is the case with the eu books like plagueis as well So if you were ki adi mundi in this time, why would you conclude you are dealing with a sith? The sith are still like a boogeyman since they havent been seen for so long

Right now, the Jedi think they're doing with a dark side user but not a Sith. Either they never figure out that their adversary is actually a Sith or this group of conspirators hides the information from the Council in order to prevent news of the dead Jedi getting out.

For me, it’s a matter of how much damage will Disney do to itself and its IPs until they decide to correct course. I say they finally realize the error of their ways AFTER the self-destruct and go bankrupt. I’m here for all of that, especially after they grossly mishandled my favorite franchises since childhood (tied with The Lord of the Rings and Star Trek).

It break the narrative. Listen to what is said here. Ki Adi Mundi is privy to all of this information and even he himself says they should alert the council, why? Becsuse of the clear and present threat of a dark side using apprentice killing their masters, not just knights? But masters. And thus a possible Sith re-ermergence. On top of that? It's revealed Sol lied about the twins and that they're a vergence which is a prophecy clue - one Mace Windu himself speaks up acknowledging when Qui-gon makes the reveal of Anikin. Sure I don't care, make Ki Adi Mundi 300 years old for what ever reason, make it to where his race is no longer near extinction and that he's allowed to bone many wives at once. Whatever. That aside, the entire narrative of the Saga is now FUBARed because not only did the vergence first exist with these twins and not Anakin, but also Ki Adi Mundi was privy to this knowledge and never reports the findings later to the council itself AND dismisses Qui-gon entirely when Qui-gon reports finding Maul, a Sith. There for, the narrative is now inconsistent, Mundi is either a liar/conspirator or the writer is just incompetent.
