Great and entertaining review, unbiased and independent. Wow an animal car. Way nicer looking than Y inside and out. You like the pine forest! :) That open winding road from Killakee car park approaching the featherbeds with clear view around all the bends is a fantastic place to really through a car around the bends on a proper racing line (ie near Noel Lemass's memorial). No hedges nor walls to obstruct views. Most fun 2km of road in Ireland.
A great piece of technology, that's for sure, but the question is, whatever anyone in this car segment needs such a level of performance, it would be morally expensive even with 1/2 the price tag,
Mark, once again top level review. You really know how to review a car from a real world perspective. And not many reviewers do! However the EV6 GT: there has to be some Cable Channel jut waiting to revive the 1970's classic Captain Scarlet using 'real' people. As for the 'Spectrum' vehicles, this and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 are just perfect! No need to go all 'dated' si-fi, already done! As for the 'baddies' the Mysterons, stick em in Teslas! Perfect! After all Elon Musk is Captain Black! [For those reading this that are too young, simply Google! You'll get it!] 🤣🤣. Thank again, great channel.
Was looking forward to this car and hoping it would be a reasonably priced performance EV. How wrong I was. 85k now puts it at a 16k premium over a model Y performance or €31k over the Y long range. Based on the pricing I have seen across Europe it would appear Kia is quite simply attempting to gouge the Irish market for the few who will order one. Even taking account of VRT & VAT it would appear they have added on a token €15k to the price just for the hell of it. Not by any means a Tesla fan but with the price diff and thgeir better charging network it is hard to see them not dominating EV sales
How are you supposed to be able to order this, when standard EV6 orders from late 2021 and early 2022 haven't been fulfilled, and those that had GT LINE orders, haven't been told yet if they will get them as the GT LINE specs??

That’s one hell of a price for a Kia. Don’t get me wrong I’m sure it’s a cracking car but you would expect to loose quite a bit of value soon after the purchase but there again I could be wrong. Nice review 👍🏻
They are in demand, have very long waiting lists and are getting nothing but positive reviews. Used examples of the normal (non-GT) are currently selling at above their RRP. I expect that they will hold their value very well indeed. My matte steel grey GT is arriving in December :)
