I am a father of two daughters and just bought exactly same as this one a few months ago in S. Korea. Man, this car has everything for fathers' need; space, ride quality, decent power, and low maintenance cost. It is really great overall package for family for sure.

Bit a few bullets for various reasons this year and my wife and I now have the EV9 in this package + the 5N. All in on our first EV experience. Pluses and minuses all around but overall enjoyment to date! Will be curious about your experience but we see some better-than-advertised range (see out-of-spec range test reviews for similar evidence)

There are dealers selling at steep discounts (almost $9k off was the highest I've seen) + the Kia $7500 incentive = around $60-65k for the GT line.

When I can afford it, which may not be for a while, this is the EV I want. Super practical without being enormous, and its also GORGEOUS.

Current NHTSA recommendation is to put hands at 9 and 3, not 10 and 2.

Yeah , my dealership has tons of these just sitting on their lot... guess they're not selling and/or MRSP too high.. I think dealer marked them down, but still many not being sold...

Good review of the pluses and minuses. Some features I wish my Ioniq 5 Limited had; others… I'm glad it doesn't! I wonder how many of them will end up in the Ioniq 9.

Hey, talk about the Genesis has a 13 month lease this month for the ELECTRIFIED models (not just the gv60). Per Genesis website, Advanced trim of the gv70 Ev as 499/ month, 3999 down for 10k miles. 😮 NEVER heard of anything like this before. I opted for the 2024 gv70 x 13 mo (for me the better deal was the gv70 compared to than the gv60 or even the 2024 ioniq5 / kia ev9 which had mark-ups.).

That's for dealing with the weather for us. I looked into this vechicle, same spec as shown but there are some stuff that I didn't like about it. I wish it had bench seating on the higher trims. I don't need captains chairs as seating 3 on the 2nd is more valuable to me. By doing this I would have to always leave my 3rd row up which I prefer not to. I hope they will change this in the future as it's available in other markets. So at this time I picked up an EV6 GT instead. I'll see what's out there in 2 years. Also my auto walk away device is coming early today! Do you know if the EV9 already has that? I heard it does. Thanks.

It does not but I’ve already tested a different version of the auto lock module for the car and it works great!

I think there's a wiper under the spoiler in the back so the camera has to be offset. ??

I hope there's another way to open the frunk besides the electronic button. Assuming the 12v battery is in the front, if it dies there needs to be a way to access the battery without using the battery!

Regarding the upgraded software, IS it the same infotainment? I think not. We'll never see wireless AA, ACP.

Being such a large car, my fear is parking in your average parking space and occupying the full space and can image car door dings to and from other cars... alas.

I know it’s not a big deal but for some reason it annoys me when people say heads up display instead of head up display lol. Just a pet peeve my ocd can’t handle
