Temps were actually fine but I also wasn't running continuous laps, there was about a 10-15 min gap between runs. Try it out man! Look into your local SCCA, they host a lot of events like this.

I have the base 2.0l 2020 forte. Is it true that the engines and transmissions (automatics) go out very easily? Just recently got mine used with 70k miles on it? What do you guys recommend to make engine and transmission last a long time? Can it last till 150k miles or 200k miles well takem care of? I know nothing of kia. Im a Toyota, mazda driver

Good to see another Forte GT running around the track. Wait until you upgrade the brakes, changes the experience completely!! If you do the brembo BBK the car will be able to do 20 min sessions with no problem. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Fy3gBpXni7w.html

We’re you running stock brakes/fluid? If so, how’d they hold up?

Yes, running everything stock. Fluid temps were good and although brakes held up fine, they wore out significantly after this event due to heavy braking.
