I have the same question, it would seem from my research that a radio software update is required to make it available. but I can find any such update on the NET. Can any tell me if it is one available , two where to get it. Thank you

from apple documentation i a found bluetooth is able to do the job and the prosess is simple hold the key on the steering wheel for a few second and on the iPhone carplay option your car name appears clic it and then accept the next GUI and done. but for that to happened the radio need that update. read french if you can Pour se connecter sans fil à CarPlay : Assurez-vous, dans un premier temps, que votre voiture est en mode sans fil ou de jumelage Bluetooth (consultez le guide du propriétaire). Champs Visions 3D I have the most updated head unit possible in my Gt2 stinger. It ain't workin' wirelessly. Apple has some misleadingly simple instructions for a openly complicated scenario. I dove further into it and cant find a specific list of cars that have head units capable of wireless carplay. The 430i was one, but everything else had to do with aftermarket radio units. So, the hunt continues. Truth be told, the moment it becomes available en masse.... you'll know. Later!

Matt who I imagine is 19 or wears 19 and is in Texas - Currently the compatible apps available are geared more toward streaming radio podcasts and audio books. The exciting part is that this technology is in its infancy! A quick Google search will show you the available compatible apps. I'm a year late, so I hope you figured it out by now but in case anyone else is looking for the same info: it's behind a slot with an SD logo on it. If you can't find it you probably don't have one. Then you need to update through the USB (if possible).
