The equipment list is too long for the price. Who will go to the other cars if they consider this. Also as Kia and Hyundai share platforms there will be a lot of user-friendliness too!
in my opinion, the problem with having a car which is available at so MANY price points is that the person who wants to buy the top of the line trim would feel deterred because *seemingly* the same car is available at a lower price point. like, the person spending 18 Lakh and the person spending 11 Lakh get the "same" car.
Pretty sure the competition is dead. The cooled seats, quality interiors, sun roof, connectivity, automatic options, good driving dynamics, pricing and mileage. The competition is DEAD.

this will make other orthodox car companies to thing hard on their features but right now they would be like “kia ye tune kya kiya” ❤️ i was thinking about to purchase creta but kia just saved me and now i definitely go for this beauty for sure
My reservations : 1. Diesel top model despite 21.8kmpl mileage which is very good has no features at all. Just 2 airbags, no crystal cut alloys instead cheap brezza type alloys, no first in segment heads up display (HUD). 2. GT line top model GTX+ has all you need, 6 airbags, crystal cut alloys, HUD but MILEAGE is 16.8 kmpl and in cities it is just 11 or 12kmpl and unjustified cost 19 odd lakhs on road. All this is told to me by showroom official. Just connected feature and BS 6 engine. Otherwise Creta still rocks!
Well, Honda CAN learn from the stinger (not to be confused with the seltos) and get the new ns-x restyled.... It seems a bit ugly at the front and just minor tweaks will set it right
Amazing car electronic featurewise, but no room for security. 3 stars NCAP ratings and not even rollover mitigation installed. Since my preference is security I will never buy Hyundia or Kia product.
One of the most complete cars in the market just now for the mid range SUV’s. Only if it had the Panaromic Sunroof, it would have captured the whole market comfortably and left nothing to Hyundai Cretai, Brezza, Hector and Harrier! Yet I feel it is going to be the top selling car in 2020 for the mid range SUV’s. Great Job KIA!!
My dad is a huge fan of this car and was going to buy it but right now circumstances are so bad that we need all money to save my house hope one day i will buy it for him 🙏
The only thing missing in this segment is a hybrid car. If Kia would have got that too people wouldn't even go MG and Tata showrooms to see their cars. The seltos would be blind choice. Though even now it's a blind choice compared to what the others offer
@@ankur23891 The HR-V has been rumoured to be a CBU. In classic Honda tradition of overpricing, that's unsurprising. Ford is no longer developing products for Indian market. All R&D stuff will be from the Mahindra JV.

what more can you want in a car....pretty handsome inside /out ..kia scores full marks on practicality ....wished for more space at the rear seats plus panaromic sunroof with slightly more ground clearance and a awd option which is available in korea.....rest all is great....
Kia worked with Right Engine options, Gear Box, Design, Technology. This has raised customers expectations. Competition sellers will have hard time to sell their products. With 16 variants customers get great choice. Great review sir. Connectivity options will be compulsion.
Most of the people's asking to do comparison with harrier. Tata comes with 2L diesel unit and seltos has 1.5L diesel. There is no point to compare this two.
The Diesel top-end model doesn't get top notch features such as 6 airbags,driving modes,terrain modes and bold appearance as compared to the GT line.KIA should have offered Diesel engine in the GT line or may put the missing features in top end Tech trim's of the diesel variant...this is just disappointing for a Diesel top model customer!!!
Moving to petrol models is definitely a good option,but many Indian car buyers in this segment prefer diesel models due to their high fuel efficiency as compared to that of the petrol models!!😀😀
@@sabuaugustine3818 Now that the price is announced, I get the reason. They want the price tag to end at 16 lakhs ex-showroom when announcing price. GTX 1.4 DCT itself costs 15.99 lakhs. That's why there's no GTX+ DCT as of now. Same could be the reason for diesel. Diesel top model ends at 15.99 lakhs. They did it to keep it all within 16 lakhs.
The freer our market is, the best products we get. We need to make India is a true free-market with less central government regulations- that way we can see more and more awesome products like this. Thank you Kia for launching this awesome car.
my first reaction after watching Harrier on RU-vid was hohum.. my first reaction when I watched in in person was wow.. exactly the opposite when I looked at the Seltos almost a week back being driven by a guy with 2 kids on the back seat (how the heck did he get it before it's launch?).. I was not impressed with Hector but when I looked at it in full 3D glory, I kinda liked it although it could have been a little wider to match the height.. so there you go

Kia can make ESP & Traction control standard on all its forthcoming vehicles. Its long since standard for all Cars in EU, US, CA etc. Lets have it on all Cars in India making our roads safer, save lakhs of accidents & life. It will also lower car insurance in the long run.
Sir, but the million dollar question is should I go for dct transmission considering its overheating problem during b to b traffic n uphill driving...😖
Lovely car , nice Orange colour especially the front looks are tough & attractive . There will be a tough competition between Harrier & Seltos. BTW very nice review
I would have wanted Kia to give an option of black chrome for the grill in the GT Line. But certainly one of the strongest product in the segment till date.
Finally a competition for creta.....and that too by it's sister company....superb car.....gona be a hit for kia and will make it's first impression in India as a great company
When you say, must to have sunroof? Do we really need cars with sunroof in India considering our tropical climate, let alone pollution. Just wondering about the marketing strategy automobile companies are using to fool us.
Yes I enjoy an open sunroof when the weather permits. (kerala). It's a nice feature to have. Do we need sunroof in this part of the world? - is the same category of questions like 'Do we need cruise control and all!'. Yes we do need cruise control!
6 airbags TCS,Hill start assist,missing in diesel top variant these are need of the hour..Who want those gimmick features without proper safety in a 15+ lacs car..
I drive a diesel swift n drive to Shimla regularly......I never had any problems without any of the swanky gadgets n features like hill/parking/rear view camera.....but may be I am gareeb that's why
nit23sharma you may be a good driver but everyone is not like that.Hill hold not useful only at hills.It aid in everyday driving ,There are variety of terrain in our country for everyday driving.
They're FIAT, aren't they? Well, they're gonna keep the same car for the next 10 years with nothing but minor visual jugaad changes like they did with Linea and Punto.
I am totally impressed with this car , after seeing the reviews from auto car india. I was little bit confused and disappointed before, because comments from some other reviewers . Now i am clear that KIA gonna makes big impact on Indian 🇮🇳market. They already proven there market value and quality in many countries like USA 🇺🇸, Australia 🇦🇺, most of Europe, and UAE. On top of that kia and Hyundai coming from same company and platform so I think anyone one can go for it with out having second thought of reliability. They are offering so many goddies no one can resist
I think KIA has nailed it. It's very well thought out & should do well. Generally I don't look at the features list but this list is simply mind blowing...Bose music system is the highlight
