How’s the drone? I’m looking to do this to mine since it’s much cheaper than buying a full exhaust and I just want the sound, but I hear the drone is terrible
The drone is terrible depending on the setup, my setup wasn’t too bad because I extended the pipes through the tips as far as the shop would let me. It’s honestly not too bad on the highway unless you’re going up hill
@@KonaNthusiast on a scale of 1-10 how annoying was it with 10 being the worst? A place by me quoted me at $150 for muffler delete and welding the pipes to the tips
@@AlienCreatureThing well it’s impossible to weld the pipes to the tips, it will melt those tips. You would need aftermarket tips, to keep I think the drone is usually a 3 or 4 out of town, if you’re driving for an extended amount of time, the exhaust will get hot and drone goes to 6 or 7, but it’s never been unbearable, especially if you play music on the regular. Also driving in sport around town takes that drone away
@@KonaNthusiast well I meant weld pipes that come to the end of the tips not directly to them. But I feel you, the thing is I hear the Borla has drone too and all I want is the louder noise so I rather just do the muffler delete
