Kia's all-new and smallest crossover based on the Rio to rival the Nissan Juke and Fiat 500X.
At launch, the Stonic is available in two trim levels called the ‘2’ and ‘First Edition’ while there’s a choice of three engines, two petrol and one diesel.
The petrol variants consist of an entry-level 1.4-litre with 98bhp and a more powerful turbocharged 1.0-litre T-GDi three-cylinder motor with 118bhp.
All models are front wheel drive and fitted with six-speed manual gearboxes, although an automatic will be introduced in 2018.
Priced from £16,295 to £20,495.
We're testing the 1.0-litre T-GDi with a manual gearbox in range-topping First Edition trim priced £19,695.
