Glad the video was helpful. I learned that trick years ago. If it’s pulling to one side then pull the opposite side and it will change direction

Nice! One thing forsure is I get out that highway asap.. what I do is strap down the car that’s not next to the highway.. get out the highway and strap down all four sides once I’m in the safe zone.. almost lost my life trying to do strap down all four sides while on the highway cause people never move over or even slow down.. be safe brothers!! #towlivesmatter #slowdown #moveover

If I feel that I’m in dangers way then I’ll put the 2 straps and get out of the way.

Wheellift is faster in that situation. I know it's not recommended without car on deck. You always do good job! Just my opinion to get away from traffic.

Great little pullover trick. Never thought of it. You guys get it easy in states though as everything is matic and no one puts a handbrake on. In the uk it’s a guaranteed 4 skate job.

Learned that trick years ago. The only time I find issues with parking brakes is with the newer electronic vehicles. The parking brakes always set automatically when you put the vehicle in park. I can’t stand the electronic parking brakes 😂. Hope all is well over in the UK.

Looks like a there’s a good crown in the road gravity and low resistance would make it slide that way. I’ve had that happen before.

Good job Cesar, I have a question not concerning this video. Hope you have the answer!!! Do you know how to get a 2023 Chevy Silverado into neutral without the vehicle being on ??? Just had one and couldn’t find the release if there was one. Thanks for your time and the answer if you have the one.

Good morning! Thanks! So for the newer GMC/Chevy trucks that have electronic gear selection transmissions, there’s a tool for it. I haven’t done one myself, but I have seen photos of how it is done. On the side of the transmission, there is a shaft that sticks out. You would put the tool on the shaft and bolt the tool to the transmission. The tool has a handle that you squeeze, which rotates the shaft, putting it into neutral, but you have to make sure the brake is released then you have to unplug the parking brake motor on the back of the brake caliper then put it into neutral. If you don’t disconnect the pocket brake before putting it into neutral, the vehicle will automatically set the parking break. The tool is over $200 online but from my understanding you can use an open end Wrench. Put one end on the shaft, rotate it then push the shaft against the transmission and it will hold the wrench. Whether you are using the tool or the open end wrench method you have to disable and disconnect the electronic pocket brake.

@@jvandergriff13 you’re welcome. Yeah it’s a time consuming process so I would just wheel lift it from the back or drag it up the bed using skates.

A question I have a question why do you knock the skates under the front wheel you going to steal drag it I only use the skates for getting a car straight up on the bed I never use them for that I just drag it all up

Hammering the skates under the tires keeps the tires from sticking to the bed which allows the vehicle to just slide up the bed easily. No straining the winch, cable, and parking pawl on the vehicles transmission.

@@TowMan127 I hear a lot of people say by the transmission if that was the case it wouldn't be a towing company open because every tow company in the United States Hanford Transmissions if that was so bad on Transmissions you on the side of the highway is more important than a transmission because you can always go replace a transmission the driver's safety is more important and if you drag it up in park on the front wheel drive is going to pull straight on up but I understand everybody do things different

@@chops080177 I’ve dragged cars up plenty of times without skates. I just prefer using skates more now. If you look at a parking pawl from a transmission, it’s not some big bulky lever. It can definitely strain or break which is why the “parking brake” was made. People are supposed to use the parking brakes to prevent damage to the parking pawl.
