November 1, 2014 was the date that Brittany Maynard chose to end her life. Given six months to live after an MRI showed an enormous brain tumor, she and her husband Dan Diaz chose to relocate from California to Oregon. They got a new medical team and lived each day to the best that her declining health would allow. Please watch this "kibbitz" and consider sharing your views with your legislators-- in Maryland or any other state you call home.
To me, end-of-life options are another method of being pro-choice. I hope you'll join Dan and thousands of advocates around the country in supporting the right to die.

I’m so sorry for your loss, even now it’s such a loss on so many levels. I just lost my son last month. He had been sick for a couple years and supported this choice too. 🕊♾🙏🏽❤️‍🩹🕯💫

Dan, I know your story too. To a point. Your beautiful wife's story hit me so hard in 2014. I still think of her, and I still check on you, to see that you did what she wished, that you got married and had children. You appear to have put a wall up that won't allow it. So after her story, in June 2020, I kept getting strange blobs I was blowing out of my nose. One blob looked like rubber, so within a month I put a sample in a small tartar type cup and had it analyzed. I was so shocked it came out as Esthesioneuroblastoma. Then I went to a cancer doctor, brain, sinus specialty. He was shocked that I discovered my own cancer, and that it was a stage 1. He never had a stage one yet. I had no symptoms yet. No headaches, nosebleeds etc. I had the surgery, it had attached to the base of my skull in my sinus, right near the opening to the brain. My surgery went so well, I did 2 radiation treatments and quit. I will be cancer free 3 years in June. As you can see, I still think of Brittany, I still cry about her. I would have done the same as her, death with dignity had I needed too. God bless and seek happiness.
