I picked up this game blind because I wanted to try something new, no research, simply blind. I was using damage boosts to shoot me forward to save time and had no idea about the slide. Thank you for enlightening me on the level up slide. Life changing. Great run.
Glad that helped. I can't even imagine trying to run this game without the slide the walk speed is so slow. Anyways good luck with the runs if you are still keeping up with it.
Just picked it up a couple days ago. Finally sub 20'd Adventure Island 4, so was looking for something new and Kickmaster was something I knew of but one of a few titles I never played. Now, the only thing frustrating is EXP RNG. But still, fun as hell. I'll be on this one for a while.
Awesome SDoren! This game could use some more love and I agree the rng exp grind is just awful. It's the only reason I didn't push the time down to a sub 11. Maybe you will be the one to do it.
